Thandie Newton In Temperley London – ‘Good Deeds’ LA Premiere

Thandie Newton attended the premiere of ‘Good Deeds’ in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

The stunning actress wore a metallic gold lace Temperley London Pre-Fall 2012 dress with three-quarter length sleeves.

While the dress appears super-styled in the Pre-Fall look-book, Thandie lets the dress speak for itself accessorizing only with a simple black clutch and black strappy heels.

Gold accents on her Jimmy Choo ‘Koko’heels keep the shoes from appearing too heavy.

Thandie’s textured curls are swept up into a high bun with what appears to be a hair donut keeping the curls in place thus creating a perfect circular shape.

A deep rouge lip colour completed her look.

Hair do, or hair don’t?

I like the updo, it’s fun and quirky. Like the whole look too!

    • Christine February 15, 2012 at 19:22 #

      I agree.

    • Betty Brandenburg February 15, 2012 at 19:36 #

Agree! At first, i thought she was wearing a little pillbox hat. Very cute.

      • Amanda February 15, 2012 at 20:19 #

        +3

Lovely dress, beautiful makeup, poodle hair.

  3. mm February 15, 2012 at 18:39 #

I Like the hair. It reminds me of lil hat.

  4. Henrique February 15, 2012 at 18:43 #

Hair don’t. Lovely dress but nothing to get excited about

    • Rebecca Z February 15, 2012 at 18:53 #

+1 Not a fan of the hair

  5. justme February 15, 2012 at 18:49 #

Hair do for me, I love it!
    It makes her look younger.

  6. Nat39 February 15, 2012 at 18:53 #

This is pretty bad. Not a good choice of a dress for her to begin with, leave it for someone like Taylor Swift. Wrong styling for her as well, the whole thing simply doesn’t suit her, she is a bit too mature for this.

    • DivaDebbi (Beauty and Fashion Blog) February 15, 2012 at 19:56 #

+1. Way too sweet. I like Thandie sleek and chic.

    • Linda February 16, 2012 at 21:51 #

You’re so right about this being a Taylor Swift dress. I really don’t like the hair. I agree none of it suits her.

  7. Dionne February 15, 2012 at 18:55 #

I like her hair! Not everyone can pull it off but of course she does it with ease. I love her entire look

  8. Ahot February 15, 2012 at 18:56 #

Perfection! Girl crush. Adorable earrings. Thandie, Zoe Zaldana & Diane Kruger are in a league of their own. They make the most unexpected work. Big yes to the hair do.*.*

  9. Caroline February 15, 2012 at 19:09 #

    Do!

  10. Hannah February 15, 2012 at 19:12 #

Her shoes are the Jimmy Choo ‘Koko’ sandals.

    Hair don’t

  12. unvacuous February 15, 2012 at 19:18 #

I think she looks good, it’s a very cute, girly look for her. Reminds me of Corrine Bailey Rae. Love the accessories and lip color. It’s refreshingly different from her usual sophisticated elegance.

Even if you’d think of this for somebody younger, she can pull it off with that figure and face.

  13. EmmaWoodhouse February 15, 2012 at 19:22 #

Hair DON’T! Soft, loose waves would have made this a winner–the dress is cute and I like her accessories! :)

  14. Emalie February 15, 2012 at 19:29 #

    The hair is horrible period

  15. Hermoine February 15, 2012 at 20:03 #

i’m drooling over the shoes.. <3

  22. Mads February 15, 2012 at 23:32 #

100% a hair do. She was recently interviewed about her hair and she is transitioning from evil relaxed hair to natural locks so I am all over this look. Team Thandie!

  23. Leti February 16, 2012 at 01:05 #

On anyone else, this would probably be a don’t, but Thandie can pull it off.

  24. Mol February 16, 2012 at 06:31 #

Quirky gorgeous, the whole thing works beautifully, j’adore!

  25. roxana February 16, 2012 at 07:17 #

hair don’t, but it looks good on her.

  26. Lou February 16, 2012 at 07:57 #

Love the hair but her dress is crying out for a belt

  27. Em February 16, 2012 at 08:28 #

hair do! thandie is one of the few that could pull this off.

  28. Jones19 February 16, 2012 at 11:32 #

Oh my I have a similar dress from Asos, it’s in pink with a black underlay though. Nice choice Thandie!

  29. sweetjess98 February 16, 2012 at 12:33 #

love the outfit but the hair spoils it.

  30. Jess2 February 16, 2012 at 12:49 #

I like the hair, it is quirky and fun! I like the look as a whole, the dress is gorgeous but I wish she had kept the belt.

  31. Shaina February 16, 2012 at 13:10 #

I don’t like the hair and I think she should have added something to the dress. It’s just so plain to me. Other than that, I do love the shoes and makeup.

  32. Carolina Roq February 16, 2012 at 13:27 #

    hair don’t

  33. beadingchef February 16, 2012 at 18:41 #

I like the retro feel of it, once in a while it is great to do a change up, and the woman is just so beautiful naturally that she could wear a sack and still look good.

  34. Luciana February 16, 2012 at 21:33 #

    LOve it!
    Very Thandie = never boring!

  35. LizLemooooon February 17, 2012 at 04:47 #

YAY! Glad she’s starting to show her more natural hair on the red carpet finally. She looks great, I like the hairdo, makes an otherwise quite boring outfit look a bit more interesting and fashionable.

  36. bianca February 26, 2012 at 22:57 #

This hair do is very similar to the one she had a year ago, at the L.V. party for Sam Wood.I will never forget that hair,I thought it was absof***inglutely amazing,as Mr Big would say, from Sex% the city:)
