Mia Wasikowska joined Leighton Meester at a screening of ‘The Woman Dress,’ directed by Giada Colagrande, held in New York City on Tuesday evening.
As the face of Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2012, it makes perfect sense that Mia attended the screening of a film celebrating the brand in a beautiful Miu Miu dress.
Mia chose a navy silk taffeta key-hole sleeveless dress with a classic A-line skirt. The dress was accentuated with a green crystal encrusted collar and waistband.
This silhouette is unmistakably Miu Miu, and green and white crystal embellishment only makes it that much more special.
Strappy blue Miu Miu heels complete her BDOTW worthy look.
Mia hasn’t looked this amazing in since Cannes. Maybe she will be a worthy brand ambassador after all.

I love that she went matchy matchy with the shoes, beautiful look…
I’m not crazy about this look. There’s something about the fit of the dress from the waist up that bothers me and I don’t like how high the collar sits. Otherwise, it’s a nice colour on her and I love her shoes.
I agree with you about everything.
Agreed on all points.
AGree. It makes her neck look awkwardly long, as if it doesn’t belong to her body, and her shoulders too wide, and her legs short! Nice dress, though, in principle, and lovely shoes.
Agreed, the high collar is just plain weird.
It’s a little too stiff but overall a HUGE improvement. Her hair and makeup are particularly admirable!
Finally this girl has a great look FOR ONCE!!! Hope she keeps up the good work!
She looks great! She usually doesn’t get the shoes right, but she did this time! Love the whole look.
Love the dress and shoes, not so much the hair.
Definately a BDOTW contender. She looks fabulous!
Pretty dress and shoes, but I don’t like the hair–too school-marmish. This would have looked better with soft waves.
The dress and the makeup are lovely. I don’t understand that hairstyle on young woman, and unfortunately, from this angle, the shoes remind me of the sandals senior citizens tend to wear in white with hose when heading to church.
I wasn’t sold with her mui mui campaign adds but she looks a lot better here. I love the colour and would love to see her up for BDOTW.
I really like this look from the waist up. However, from the waist down it is difficult to determine if it is the length of the skirt or the camera angle that isn’t doing her legs any favors.
I agree. The fabric is stiff and the length is strange here – though it may be the camera angle. I also think the neck embellishment is a bit much.
Looks cute, but she’s too boring.
I think she looks 30 years older than she is. She looks like she is channeling Grace Kelly, shortly before her untimely death. I wish the dress covered her knees.
Love it! She looks so pretty and the dress is a major win.
Absolutely adorable. I love that she kept her make up simple. I’m not sure if she should have a brighter lip color, but the dress is enough.
She looks great..I like the makeup too.
I love her Roland Mouret moment in Cannes last year. Non of her “after Cannes” look is passed RM look, including this one, in my opinion.
The dress is really nice, but i have to agree with those who said that there is something wrong with the way it fits her.I also don’t like the shoes and another type of hairstyles would have made her more justice.Anyway,it’s not a bad look.
I love, love, love this! The hair and makeup look great and her matching shoes are perfect. I do agree that there s something wrong with the fit, but for the most part I can get passed it.
I don’t loooove it, but it is definitely better than her last outing.
Totally agree with you – this is very classy
