Evan Rachel Wood attended the opening reception for ‘The Ever Changing Face Of Beauty,’ hosted by W Magazine in New York City last night.
Evan stayed true to her retro style in strapless Gucci Pre-Fall 2012 dress.
I can’t think of a more fitting person to wear this dress, as it combines the menswear-inspired look that Evan favors so much with this season’s trend of peplum skirts.
The actress’ bold attitude and ‘50’s inspired coif keep this dress from seeming too much like office-wear.
Gucci t-strap heels and a studded belt finish the look. My only complaint is that a matching studded clutch would have been a great touch.

Who Was Your Best Dressed At The amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala?

I don’t really like the dress, but agree it is perfect for her style. Her makeup is spectacular.
Well, I’m a sucker for tartan, so there’s that. Then there’s the complete perfection with which she carries this off that takes this over the top. I’m completely in love with this look.
I love it, and her hairstyle is beautiful.
EEEK! I predicted this dress for her, and my predictions never happen. She looks good and Im glad that she wore the shoes presented as well.
Gorgeous! I am glad she found her fashion identity at long last.
This is Mad Man glam. Only ERW can wear this look without the look wearing her.
This is an odd dress but I rather like it, especially on ERW. She looks sharp!
LOVE. Perfection.
I love her hair and dress and, well, everything about this look. She looks sleek, polished and sexy.
I don’t know about the strapless…it’s sort of a business dress and that is a bit incongruous, but I do really like it! The peplum is great and the whole thing is so well made
A+ on shoes, hair, and makeup!
she looks stunning.
my only complain is she need some necklace
Love this. I even kind of dig the fact that she has no accessories.
This is the way Rihanna should style herself when she wore Bottega Venetta ensemble a few days ago.
It’s rare that ERW doesn’t wow me, I just love the attitude and confidence she always brings – and so it is here, love the whole thing.
She’s such a diva, love this dress on her. Like you said, it’s perfect for her style.
This was one of my favourite pieces from the collection and ERW was definitely the first person I thought of!! She looks fantastic
Beautiful.
is it weird that i kinda like this?? lol
i’m sorry, how can this be “office wear” ????
