Shailene Woodley went for a ballerina-meets-princess look at the 2012 BAFTA Awards which took place in London this evening.
The young actress wore a blush-pink Dolce & Gabbana tulle gown with floral appliqués.
Shailene not only switched up her usual ponytail in favour of a sleek topknot, but the fresh-faced beauty also opted for a vibrant lavender lippie.
I love her hair and makeup, but I would’ve preferred a classic simple bun to a top knot.
The simple look was styled with minimal jewelry.

She reminds me of Elle Fanning at the MET GALA.
I wished she wore some pretty necklace, but other than, she looked great! not too big of the flowers though.
Totally agree about the hair – kinda ruins the whole thing
put a patka on that hair
Fire. Your. Stylist.
+1 I am so worried as to what she will wear to the Oscars. Actually worried.
But Shailene looked AMAZING at NYFW. Especially at Jason Wu. AMAZING.
I agree. I think that the dress is very beautiful but it’s the exactly the color of he skin, so I don’t like it on her. The hairdo… is good to go to the gym, not for a red carpet, even if you’re very young!
Aside from the top-knot (which I always despise) I would have loved the dress except for the floral pom-poms on the skirt! They really make the look too kitschy for me.
I actually like the hair – just wish that it looked more tamed and polished.
Gorgeous, but somethings missing, a pair of diamonnd studs, and a clutch would be nice!
I don’t mind the hair. I usually hate top knots, but she is young and looks like she is having fun with clothes/hair/makeup. But I agree with Eimear, some jewelry would have added some sparks.
She basically wore this same dress the Golden Globes, the only difference is this one is D&G and that was Marchesa. Same. Exact. Dress.
But just meh
I think she looks amazing, her style is reflecting her age and freshness, I definitely love it
love the lips, but the dress is just so blah
Sweet–my teeth hurt
This is so bad. I just can’t even….
I agree. This is tragic.
I agree, a low bun with a deep side part would have elevated the look to a whole other level. But it’s WAY better than the SAGs!
B-A-D.
It’s a cute look, but nothing more. The dress is OK, but I really don’t like the hairdo. The hint of make-up is nice, but I really wish she would add some jewellery to her outfits, they always feel so plain!
I hate the hair and make-up. Her eyebrows look weird. And the dress doesn’t help either.
Not loving the flowers everywhere. The top section is so cute though. Not really an outstanding look imo.
