Melissa George looked sensational on the red carpet at the 2012 BAFTA Awards in London this evening.
She appeared to have been poured into her liquid leather-esque Victoria Beckham gown.
I fully expected an open back when the actress turned around, but the slinky gown stayed conservative – from a skin-baring perspective.
I also expected a standard red lip with the sexy black gown, but Melissa pleasantly surprised me with a bright pink pout.
A Monkia Chiang chain minaudiere clutch and retro marcel waves completed an unexpected yet very sexy and refreshing look from the actress.
It’s good to see her enjoying herself on the red carpet and fully committing to the sexy temptress role she adopted for this event.

I feel like it has been forever since we’ve seen a VB dress on the red carpet. Melissa looks amazing, so sexy and sultry despite wearing a long sleeved dress.
I don’t like it. It’s so tight that it looks like stretched ceran wrap or something…unfortunate, because I love her hair, makeup, and earrings!

I think that the back wasn’t exposed makes it kind of interesting, when one sees a high neck front an open back is expected. The slinky fit and vampy offsets any conservative skin exposure.
I love this look but I wish we couldn’t see the outline of her belly button…tacky.
