Katy Perry arrived at the 2012 MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute to Paul McCartney which was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California last night.
She looked heavenly wearing an Alexis Mabille Spring 2012 Couture gown.
The pale pink satin crêpe gown with lace inserts over a pleated underskirt in Chantilly lace with embroidered lace inserts and flounced hem with teamed with a floral head-piece and a pink satin bow tied to the waist.
You may remember that when Dita von Teese wore a look from this collection she opted to downsize the head-piece, but Katy kept the look true to the runway.
With Katy’s blue hair, I’m surprised she didn’t opt for one of the other more colourful pieces in this collection.
Had it been her night, I’m sure she would’ve been more adventurous.
Whilst her hair colour is a slight turn-off in this breath-taking gown, I can’t deny how beautiful she looks.

It’s just too much for me.
+1!!!
+2
I dislike this look. Dita wears the collection much better. Katy’s hair is amazing, but not with a blush coloured Couture gown.
She does look beautiful! I agree with you FC in regards to the hair colour and I would have liked the hem to be taken up a touch but I love that she went for the full sized headpiece. The dress is gorgeous.
+1. Dress is to die. Basta with the blue hair already.
Ahhhh, I couldn’t place what was bothering me, but you’re right, the hem does need to be taken up a bit, feels like she’s dragging the dress around.
Gorgeous.
The dress is gorgeous and I’m glad we have someone not afraid to dress like this.
This outfit looks too muchhh and make her looks way much olderrrr!
The dress is just amazing but I dont get Katy’s style, it dont make sense
I love this dress on her, the color the shape are all perfect, and I also love the contrast her hair color made with the dress, but I’m really disliking this huge headpiece it’s a little too much and it distract me from her beautiful face
This is a beautiful outfit and its not bad on Katy but Im afraid it looks like the headpiece is wearing and weighing her down.
It could be the pose she has been photographed in but it just seems to me like her body is avoiding the flower side at all costs because it doesnt quite know how to stand with it.
Kudos for trying without being a try hard.
I freaking love this.
He knows what he’s missing. S’all I’m sayin…
i absolutely LOVE this
Gorgeous! Next time photoshop her hair color to something more natural! Haha! BDOTW contender!
I’m glad she’s wearing the headpiece, she’s one of the few people whimsy enough to pull it off and it covers the blue hair. She’s not as elegant as Dita in the dress but the I love the lace skirt and she looks pretty.
GORGEOUS DRESS–it was my favorite from the collection. However, the headpiece is too much on the red carpet, and her blue hair is AWFUL!
She sure looks beautiful, but I think she overdid it a bit, considering it wasn’t her night. Plus, while I’ve really liked the blue hair colour on her, it doesn’t really work for me here, with this look.
i hate this look
love it, wonderful
I think she looks gorgeous and the blue hair really doesn’t bother me at all. I can’t find a fault. The headpiece looks like a silky Victorian hat.
I feel like Katy Perry is hasn’t got enough credibility in your eyes to really pull this look off. I think if lets say Diane Kruger or Cate Blanchett was wearing it, you would all be like BDOTY
The gown is gorgeous~but a little bit too much for me.this look more suitable on the catwalk.
Wow, think it really suits her.
Surprisingly I really love this. Can’t usually stand Katy, but there is something about his look that is just beautiful in my eyes.
she does look breath-taking
