Lea Seydoux, the face of the Prada Resort 2012 campaign, joined Diane Kruger on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Les Adieux de la Reine’ during the 2012 Berlinale Film Festival this evening.
The French beauty wore a custom Prada red gown with three-quarter-length sleeves and a slight rise-and-fall hemline.
Her gown is nice enough, but it’s her Prada accessories which are totally selling this look to me.
The Prada Spring 2012 shoes are to-die-for, so thank God the dress was designed to showcase them.
With Fashion Week in full swing, I’m sure we will see these heels on several fashion editors, especially in Europe.
Lea carried a Prada clutch and wore a Prada cuff, both of which are encrusted with diamond and ruby gemstones and also appear in her Resort 2012 ad campaign.
Oh the perks of being a muse.
Do you think this look is on a par with Diane? Or does Lea eclipse her?

i adore this. i WANT this. she looks perfect.
Perfect! She out scored Diane! Everything about this look is stunning! Everything is on point! Found my BDOTW!
Love! BDOTW for me! Definetly on par if not better for me – mostly for all the color!
I loved Diane but Lea totally wowed me this time. Love everything about the look, so glad she wore those shoes
+1
They both looked beautiful, but Lea was outstanding.
Same here! Diane look was great and all, but Lea’s choice of accessories was outstanding! I don’t usually like red on red, but she worked it so well.
Also, while Prada gowns don’t always work on the Red Carpet, Lea always looks great. She is definatelly one of the best muse choices.
BDOTW!
This is certainly a spectacular look. I hate to have to choose – I think it’s pretty much on par with Diane but Diane grabs me just a little bit more. This is really beautiful though. The accessories are showcased by the dress.
Wow. That’s all i can say. I’m speechless
I wish the background wasn’t red, loses a little bit of it’s impact. She doesn’t inject much energy in to the look but it still great look, love that them hem rising to showcase the fab shoes. One of my favourites shoes of month so far along with Diane yellow Giuseppe Zanotti’s and Emma stone’s electric blue snakeskin Brian Atwood “Anise” peep-toes in Brazil.
Love Love Love Love Love the accessories!
It is very hard to chose – Lea looks pretty stunning but Diane does too. I like the soft prettiness of Lea so I am tempted to chose her but then Diane’s look is tricker and carried off with such self assuredness – have to think on it……I’m sure they will both make your BDOTW list so let’s see what happens in the voting…..
Wow. I am all out of words. She is absolutely breathtaking!
I actually thought that we’d never get to see those shoes outside of an editorial, let alone on such a formal red carpet. Her accessories really do “make” the look. BDOTW and completely outshines Diane imo.
bdotw! definitely eclipsed Diane at this event.
She is actually better than Diane except for one thing-the way Diane carries herself-she looks regal.
Yep, it´s funny because she holds her own just like Dianne herself did in Marchesa @ Cannes vs The Jolie. Angelina Jolie was regal as always, but Diane stole the show. Quite the moment i remember.^^
this look is just like her campaign- pretty boring but amazing accessories
Michelle Williams should have worn these shoes to the SAG Awards.
Gorgeous look, but I prefer Diane.
I would not change anything in this look. It’s the perfection as it is.
i love this, although it flows a bit into the red carpet. The shoes are amazing.
BDOTW! Lea Eclipsed Diane.
she really eclipsed Diane. she looks breath taking. and i NEED this accesories!
Wow so pretty. Definitely on par with Diane.
She looks stunning. Love the entire look from head to toe. Plus she is wearing my favorite color.
Great look.She’s gorgeus.
Wha….? Did you ask a question? Can’t take my eyes off those Prada heels, lol.
This is outstanding. I gasped out loud when I saw this, she is a vision!
she’s gorgeous! I love herrr… flawless!
The accessories make the look. The shoes and clutch are phenomenal. And she looks great!!
Well red is really attention grabbing so… Shame we can´t see the gown well with the background tho. But, sure side by side she outshines the german actress in her hometown lol. Mission accomplished
I adore, adore, adore this. The shoes were a bold, but very good choice. I thought we’d never see them on a red carpet. I love how demure her dress is, but still young & she is still smoldering. The hair & makeup are possibly the best so far this year. I love the clutch & the cuff. I only wish that her nails were rouge noir, but that’s only because of the close up on the clutch.
She is absolutely breathtaking. Looks like she could be Marion Cotillard’s little sister in the face.
Spectac! The accesories left me breathless. BDOTW candidate for sure.
wow she really looks fantastic!!! LOVE this, BDOTW contender!!!!
The dress is simple, and not super-wow…don’t like the hi-lo hemline, and it blends in with the red carpet a bit, but the accessories? FABULOUS. This is the best styling I have seen in a long time! Amazing! She gets an A+ for effort, but Diane wins for me.
Wow this look is amazing, I completely agree that the accessories put this over the top! Perfection
I much prefer this look to Diane’s! It’s perfect! The dress is pretty and simple, and it lets the accessories do all the talking. I especially admire her for wearing these shoes at such an event – I would expect to see them worn on a less formal, funkier event, but they totally work here!
Beautiful dress WOW! Hair and makeup stunning. But for me the accessories are super tacky and overdone, the shoes are the worst, rose bling at the front and what looks like painted flames on the back.
Just lovely,from top-to-toe.
