Following the photocall earlier today, Diane Kruger attended the premiere of ‘Les Adieux de la Reine’ during the 2012 Berlinale Film Festival this evening.
Diane pulled out all the stops for the premiere, wearing a glamorous Giambattista Valli Couture 2012 gown.
You may recall that Diane was in the front row for the couture show last month, so it looks like this beauty caught her well-trained, fashion-savvy eye.
Ever the fearless dresser, Diane chose one of the more eccentric gowns with a polka-dot print, blouson neckline and cascading sequins.
A metal belt cinched in her waist as she completed her look with a Judith Leiber ‘Wildcat’ embellished clutch, a sleek updo and neutral makeup.
Which of Diane’s Berlinale looks would you like to see up for BDOTW?

Fabulous. BDOTW contender for sure
She looks amazing… but can this one is GREAT BDOTW contender!
This is the BDOTW look without a doubt. Bravo!
I love this and I don’t typically care for her but this is quite lovely, she looks 7 feet tall
I hate the polka dot shrug like neckline! Wish it wasn’t there! But overall, she looks glamorous! Can’t wait to see what Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra, wears at the premiere of Don 2 and the gowns showcased on this red capet during the festival!
Both please! Such tricky deigns, but she makes it seem do easy!
Definitely both. She’s on fire. I love the individuality of her clothing and she always carries everything so well.
One thing I just noticed, it would be even better if the neck detail was puffed out more on Diane like it is on the model – too bad. That would have taken it to a whole new level of amazing.
Agreed. She makes it appear so effortless doesn’t she? Contrast this with the maroon gown from the same collection that Natalie Portman wore to the Golden Globes. Love that Diane never opts for the easy option. We need more starlets with that same fearless and independent spirit on the red carpet.
I thought the same – put both on, each one beautifully pulled off, so why not!
Spectacular! BDOTW contender, please.
There’s something that i don’t like about this look. Maybe its the belt. And the clutch. It feels very busy.
This one for sure! I am in love with the GV couture line… all of the dresses are hits! I will admit I do like the sheer version of the dress on the runway model over the lined version on Diane. I wish she would have stuck with that.
There’s something so glamorously 30/40′s hollywood movie star about this look that I adore. So glad she kept the belt. Definitely BDOTW contender.
This was one of my favorite looks from my favorite S2012 couture show (by far). BDOTW/Y already for me. Diane: Valli-girl.
This one, the dress is amazing. She looks divine, as always.
Wondeful ! This is very Diane, as fun with the polka dot as girly with the embellisments ! She really rocks every type of fashion !
I looove this!
the dress, of course, in and of itself, qualifies her for best dressed of the week, but that leiber clutch just sends it over the edge of fabulosity!!!!
This woman is my goddess, love everything about this look.
She looks amazing. One of her best and she has some many great looks already.
She is such a goddess. She looks fierce!! Both the looks are not easy ones, and pulls them off with such ease. She is the Queen!!
I like it, but no matter how hard I try, I cannot bring myself to loving it. I feel liek with all the details the extra 4 or 5 inched on the hem of the model were veyr necessary, as in she is too short for this dress. There is also somethign which I cannot put my figner on that irks me obout the tp of the dress, maybe the belt?
The clutch is genius, though.
I am with you, this look isnt quite as fierce as we’ve seen from her before… there is too much fabric around the neck, too much going on there which detracts from her stunning face. Don’t like the hair either, looks boring. I’m pretty sure if the hair were interesting FC would have posted a side shot so I’m going to assume its boring.
this is the first time I have EVER liked something she’s worn
Love this! Which is surprising, I’m usually sitting with the “I Don’t Get the Hype” face when there are Diane posts.
Lovely – So chic – Yes BDOTW
The risk paid off, she looks outstanding!!!
Awesomeness. Magnificence. She is so gorgeous and statuesque, and this looks AMAZING! BDOTW contender to be sure!
Looks a lot better on the runway model than it does on her!
I really don’t like this dress…I hate the neckline. I think it looks like a halloween costume.
She has the attitude to pull it off, but still, I’m on the fence with this look. There’s just too much going on on this dress, I can’t really like it.
Diane outshines everyone, everywhere.I am actually dreaming with my eyes wide open of wearing such a dress, in my lifetime….
