Diane Kruger In 10 Crosby Derek Lam – ‘Les Adieux De La Reine’ Berlinale Film Festival Photocall

Diane Kruger attended a photocall in Berlin this afternoon for her latest film, ‘Les Adieux De La Reine’, during the 2012 Berlinale Film Festival.

As always, the German actress gives us something fresh and new by donning the first look on the red carpet of the 10 Crosby Derek Lam Spring 2012 collection.

Whilst some might think she got dressed in the dark, I find the combination of floral print and stripes very charming, yet daring and fashion forward.

The skirt has been shortened from the original, but I think that was a good thing in this case to ensure the look wasn’t too matronly.

Never one to slack on the shoe front, Diane added a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti yellow ankle-strap embellished peep-toes to her look.

Diane was joined at the photocall with Lea Seydoux (in Prada) and Virginie Ledoyen.

I love Diane’s style normally but I don’t like the top or skirt. The shoes are divine, love em.

  2. Mick February 9, 2012 at 18:44 #

Lol at “she got dressed in the dark”, but I really love the outfit! Also, I covet those shoes

  3. CreoleLady February 9, 2012 at 18:45 #

All I can see is a throwback to those Prada stripes from a couple collections ago. I’ll have to take a pass. But the shoes – yum yum.

  4. Noura February 9, 2012 at 18:47 #

Wooo love love Diane Kruger’s looks but prefer it on the model. Maybe that’s the shooting effect.

LOVE this look. love diane in stripes. Reminds me of her prada stripe look with the marc jacobs star shoes in 2011 (Francophone film festival).

  6. Linda February 9, 2012 at 19:08 #

One of my favourite daytime looks ever, I think. I love it from head to toe. The colours, patterns, and those amazing shoes! Perfect.

Diane can do no wrong, somehow the pulls this off and even manages to find a fancy shoe to go with it. She is a breath of fresh air after seeing Maniac Pump after Daffodil Pump after YSL TribToo on the red carpet.

  8. Luiza February 9, 2012 at 19:34 #

stunning! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the entire look! can’t wait for the premiere!

  9. Ritika February 9, 2012 at 19:47 #

Love the outfit, and to pair it with those shoes.. only Diane!! I adore this look, it is simply one of a kind.

    • Pati February 9, 2012 at 20:53 #

Totally agree! And the shoes are to die for!

  10. Pascale February 9, 2012 at 20:04 #

She so makes it work. The shoes and styling/hair are divine !

  11. Hisadora February 9, 2012 at 20:12 #

I like this one, it’s daring and oh so pretty!!! Perfect shoe choice…

  12. Dhppy February 9, 2012 at 20:17 #

I feel like she’s wearing a black and white apron that she’s forgotten to take off for the shoot. The dress and the heels would look great without the striped part.

  13. Moxie February 9, 2012 at 20:20 #

It looks like she’s wearing a green floral dress with a black/white striped apron. Very June Cleaver from Leave it to Beaver.

  14. Nat39 February 9, 2012 at 20:22 #

Looks plain awful to me, this look does`t suit her, the undone top button would`ve helped a bit.

  15. fromchi-town February 9, 2012 at 20:23 #

This reminds me of Prada. SHe makes it work and the shoes are fab!! I love the striped skirt on her!

  16. Emi February 9, 2012 at 20:31 #

I love it, the shoes are gorgeous and I love her hair. I also love the way V. Ledoyen is dressed… French women are so chic!

  17. robbie February 9, 2012 at 21:01 #

the shoes are the only good thing about it for me.

  18. mol February 9, 2012 at 21:14 #

I love this and would happily see it in the BDOTW, but it seems too many feel negatively about it, so too bad!

  19. Lexa February 9, 2012 at 21:45 #

    Love this look. :)
To the premiere she is wearing a black Giambattista Valli couture look :) I’ve seen some pics already on zimbio and she looks great :)

  20. EmmaWoodhouse February 9, 2012 at 21:54 #

I would like the dress better if it were just the green print. Also, I don’t think her shoes go with it at all. Still–it’s Diane. If anyone could make three totally unmatched things work together, it’s her. She and Cate Blanchett should start a Sartorial Awesomeness club :D

  21. Luis February 9, 2012 at 21:57 #

She looks good but the skirt should be more shortened from the original, so that we can’t see the green part. and afther that the look was a BDOTW. Shoes beautiful.

  22. Ariel February 9, 2012 at 22:10 #

The frill on the bottom is sloppy. She should’ve got rid of it! It’s not her best look anyways. Though, I live her shoes!

  23. Lou February 9, 2012 at 23:09 #

Diane in this outfit looks great – better than the model

  24. bee7 February 9, 2012 at 23:35 #

even gorgeous heels like that couldn’t save her whole look from being awful.

  25. lu February 9, 2012 at 23:36 #

I´m not sold on this look, maybe I´m not very fashion forward. In the other hand those shoes are crazy fun and gorgeous!

    • beadingchef February 10, 2012 at 17:42 #

I love the shoes, gotta agree with you!

  26. Parvati February 9, 2012 at 23:52 #

It’s a cute look (and I’m surprising myself by saying that, because I’m rather tired of all people loving every single look of hers, even when she’s made a few wrong choices, in my opinion) and I don’t mind the clash of prints. What bothers me is the green hem of the skirt. Had it been just a striped skirt, I would have like it more, but now, it looks more like an apron to me. The shoes are gorgeous, though.

    • Parvati February 9, 2012 at 23:53 #

      would have liked*

  27. Em February 10, 2012 at 00:14 #

not her best look but even on “meh” type of outings, she still looks interesting and gorgeous. she sets the bar pretty high.

  28. Jerusa February 10, 2012 at 02:53 #

    LOOVED from head to toe!

  29. TeaAtTwo February 10, 2012 at 03:04 #

I like this look especially the floral print part. I would have preferred the green hem completely. The shoes, the shoes alone could be included in BDOTW poll.

    • TeaAtTwo February 10, 2012 at 05:58 #

On second thoughts I would like to see the green print alone as a dress or matching blouse/skirt combination. With equally fabulous shoes ofc.

  30. kiwi February 10, 2012 at 07:06 #

Sorry, can’t look above the ankles.. my eyes are on those cuuuu…te shoes :)

  31. Alina February 10, 2012 at 11:32 #

    I adore this!

  32. Jess2 February 10, 2012 at 13:47 #

This look is outstanding and so fresh. It is a very unique look and Diane really works it. Love the shoes :)

  33. Jones19 February 10, 2012 at 13:48 #

Omg the shoes are too cute.

  34. Tiffany Nicole February 10, 2012 at 21:20 #

only her. The shoe is like air: essential.

  35. mwah February 13, 2012 at 04:03 #

Hate the skirt over the dress look, but the shoes are lovely.
