Abbey Clancy attended the UK launch of Lynx’s first female fragrance at Superdrug on the Strand in London yesterday evening.
The model has recently been trying to shake off her WAG tag, by trying high-fashion looks by Emilio Pucci and befriending Giles Deacon, who designed her wedding dress.
The trouble is, being a footballer’s wife it was inevitable that the WAG uniform would make a return to her closet.
Her bright blue sleeveless Hervé Léger signature bandage dress with a V-neck and a central front zip fastening was teamed with nude pumps.
Smuggling raisins aside, she does look stunning in this dress, which is very event appropriate considering what she was promoting.

How is she even STANDING…..it was Cripplingly cold last night….this woman must have skin of steel! I COULDN’T go outside without Long coat, gloves and scarf….not to mention the trousers and several jumpers I was wearing. BRAVE!!
Tacky. Tanned, blond, bandage dress. She’s like a barbie!
You’re just encouraging them! I can’t even see these dresses any more there are so many of them! Die bandage dress, die!!!
Tacky.
This might be the only time I’ve ever liked a bandage dress on someone. Love the color.
This American had to look up “WAG”, in the Urban Dictionary, which was helpful because I no longer had to ask who this woman is. I am still curious to know if she has trademarked the “I’m holding an ultra exclusive invisible cellphone” pose.
I don’t think the looks good at all. These dresses (although sometimes tacky like here) are for curvy and womanly bodies, which she does not have. And the shoes look cheap.
It’s all very generic.
Tacky, cheesy-sleazy from the dress itself to her eye makeup and bleached hair, the simple nude pumps do keep the tacky vibe down a bit.
i get a very strong liz hurley vibe from this look, both dress and posing/expressions
Just curious… is it really smuggling raisins? or is it an issue with the dress itself? Weird that its at the same location – a little too high on the maniquin as well …. anyone else see what i see?
