Nicholas Oakwell presented his second Couture collection at Claridges in London last month.
For Spring 2012, the British Couturier was inspired by pieces from the iconic jewellery house, Grima.
Pailettes, beads, feathers, adorned cocktail dresses and gowns which have a glamorous 60s feel to them were presented alongside coats made of ostrich feathers, a gold alligator-skin coat and an organza jacket with an oversized collar.
The attention to detail is quite spectacular, especially on the bead work.
I can already picture the looks above being worn by Elle Fanning, Rihanna, Andrea Riseborough and Katy Perry this awards season.
You can view the whole collection here.

I don’t love it. The embellishments are rather bizarre, particularly on the peach colored dress.
