Katharine McPhee In Valentino – NFL Honors and Pepsi Rookie Of The Year Event

Katharine McPhee was a vision in white as she stepped onto the red carpet at the NFL Honors and Pepsi Rookie Of The Year event held at Murat Theatre in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Sunday.

The singer/actress wore a Valentino Spring 2012 cap-sleeve dress with an A-line skirt.

Her look was kept beautifully minimalistic save for the stack of bracelets on one arm and a diamond-encrusted cocktail ring.

Nude patent Christian Louboutin ‘Halte’ pumps and a beautiful shade of pink glossed her lips.

I adore this look. I would love to see it up for BDOTW.

Do you agree?

No, coz of the nipples showing

She looks so… angelical. I love it.

I think this is a BDOTW contender, too. It’s such a simple, beautiful look and suits her perfectly. A different (colored) shoe would have been nice, but not required.

I like everything except the hair. The hair weighs this otherwise flawless look down. It’s distracting me.

    What’s up with the nipples?!

    • Kennedy February 7, 2012 at 22:25 #

Haha I noticed that too. ALSO distracting.

Gorgeous. Beautifully cut to drape perfectly. Well suited to McPhee. I wondered about the shoes, too – but no, they work. BDOTW, yep.

I normally don’t notice Katharine on the red carpet but this time she looks stunning. Love it. It’s a great example of how amazing you can look with a simple dress. Definitely BDOTW worthy.

    Simple and chic.

she does look beautiful here. only if she had worn another pair of shoes.

  12. lu February 7, 2012 at 16:16 #

She looks amazing! I only wish she’d wear different shoes, but the dress is so gorgeous simple and her face and hair are flawless!

Definitely a BDOTW contender, she looks amazing!

  17. Linda February 7, 2012 at 13:48 #

Absolutely BDOTW worthy. She looks phenomenal and I love it. So refreshingly light and airy. And finally, finally a Valentino dress on the red carpet that’s not nude, fussy, unflattering and slightly matronly!

It would be my BDOTW if she picked some unexpected shoes. Nude loubs? So safe. But the dress is divine.

I don’t remember if she have ever looked that good in the red carpet … so i do agree she’s a BDOTW contender

I love this look. In an era in which stylists seem to be weighing down their clients with every imaginable cumbersome accessory and dressing them in ever more dense and embellished dresses, a look like this (and Thandie’s Osman gown) is such a stunning palette cleanser. Natural, refreshing and beautifully uplifting in its lightness. This is a BDOTW contender for me.

    agreed!so simple and beautiful

Loved the look, until i got closer to the boobs area. They sit rather low & i can´t shake the feeling that she is braless. She totally ruins it with that nipplegate situation happening here!

I think there’s just darting around the bust that gives that impression plus the fabric is a bit shiny.

Anyhow, I think she looks great. She’s really pulling off that easygoing glamour.

    • TeaAtTwo February 7, 2012 at 14:17 #

After reading your comment I can’t helped but be drawn back to the bust issue. The dress itself is lovely.

      • Ahot February 7, 2012 at 17:02 #

I know, right? Bummer because i really like this dress too
