As you know I’m placing bets on Bérénice Bejo wearing Elie Saab on Oscar night, so I was happy to see her wearing my favourite designer to the 84th Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon which was held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California earlier today.
The Argentine-French actress wore an Elie Saab purple sleeveless pleated cocktail dress, which is her third Elie Saab looks so far leading up to awards season.
A gold box clutch and black strappy sandals completed the look.

i find this rather boring, would have never guessed it to be elie saab!
Pretty, but too predictable.
There is something about her vibe, that no matter what she wears, she just doesn’t look totally put together? Like something is missing (hair? Make up? Shoes?) but I can’t put my finger on it!!
She always looks nice, but never WOW! Fingers crossed for the Oscars!

I love Elie Saab and Bejo so it pains me to say that this outfit is quite hideous. It looks like something you would find at any department store and should steer clear from. Bejo is so lovely, I would like to see her in something more form fitting.

Unfortunately there is nothing unique or exciting about the style of this dress. it looks like it could have been made by Dorothy Perkins.
I haven’t really liked a majority of Berenice’s red carpet looks, this one included. She chooses gorgeous dresses by amazing designers but in my opinion she doesn’t seem to carry her looks well. The dresses such as the short blue Elie Saab and the Ralph Lauren dresses just appear to hang on her. In saying that however, she looked amazing at the Golden Globes.
Once again, pretty dress (although quite ordinary for an Elie Saab), but terrible styling, expecially the shoes.
I hope this doesn’t happen again at the Oscars…
She need some new shoes, she seems to wears these almost every other occasion. I like the colour of the dress though.
Her sadals, which I really dislike, especially here, are the Gucci betty sandals.
