Andrea Riseborough was in Salt Lake City on Tuesday for the Sundance Film Festival, where she attended a dinner for the film ‘Shadow Dancer.’
The British actress kept warm wearing a black Valentino Couture Fall 2011 dress cost with large gold embellishments.
Her velvet coat was worn with opaque black tights, leather gloves and flat leather boots.
Whilst I understand the need for some extra leg coverage, I can’t forgive those boots.
With a coat this length, Andrea need for some extra height.
Black pumps, booties or even high-heeled boots would have helped.
Tightly tied back hair adds to the severe look.

Even if it´s a coat dress (or dress coat) it is still a dress (see the model) and wearing it like a true coat with the gloves and those ugly flat boots doesn´t feel right to me. I could´ve forgiven the elegant high-heeled boots but without the leather gloves at least. And with this hairstyle along with the embellishments, this look feels fake and costumey.
There’s something very costumey and OTT about this look. The gold detailing was an interesting idea, but it does not translate well here. The flat boots are ugly and do nothing for her, and her hairstyle isn’t flattering. I can’t take this seriously.
I love the coat but she doesn’t wear it right.
With high heels it would be a perfect look.
om the model it is nice, on andrea it is a mess.
what the heck is going on with her hair?????
its hideous!
FC you read my mind!the boots destroy the outfit
