Drew Barrymore In Ports 1961 – ‘Big Miracle’ Washington Screening

Drew Barrymore was in Washington, DC on Monday for the screening of ‘Big Miracle’.

She wore a Ports 1961 Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

On her last outing, many of you said you thought Drew’s looks aged her, so I wonder how you’re feeling about this blurred houndstooth-print dress?

Bearing in mind this look is for a screening, I do think it is event appropriate, but I wish she’d taken the styling up a few notches.

A clutch would’ve sufficed.

Very matronly. This very simple dress is all about the beautiful statuesque silhouette and hairstyle – you fail on both, like in Drew´s case, you end up looking like a grandma. Bad choice for Drew, doesn´t create a flattering silhouette on her, a more vibrant non-frumpy hairstyle and bright lip would´ve helped.

I agree, it’s quite unflattering on her, she needed a belt and a better hairstyle.

Not a good look at all!

Ugh. I love when Drew goes soft and femenine. This is a no-go…really, giant houndstooth? How does that work?

This is a very bold choice for Drew, but I like it on her. I agree that a clutch would complete the look, but I think it’s good she didn’t add any accessories, since the dress does all the talking.

It’s too big a print for her frame.

Drew’s lack of waist definition is killing this look. Just like my lack of waist definition would send masses screaming into the streets in horror if I wore this dress ;-)

That print is appropriate only for a 1970′s sofa throw.

At least her rats nest hair is pulled back.

    Looks like pijamas.
Sad, both Drew and the dress would have deserved better.

Unfortunate. She has really quirky taste–sometimes it works, but often not.

I’m not keen on the dress and really don’t like it on Drew… makes her look like she has no waist!
