Meryl Streep In Alessandra Rich – 2012 Golden Globe Awards

Meryl Streep was a winner at the 2012 Golden Globes taking home ‘Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama’ for ‘The Iron Lady’.

She wore an Alessandra Rich Spring 2011 dress.

This collection is much loved by Evan Rachel Wood and Amber Heard.

Meryl’s black shirt dress with embroidered lace shoulders and sleeves was teamed with a simple black belt.

The look feels a tad too casual for my liking, but knowing Meryl this could’ve been a lot worse.

She arrived on the red carpet carrying a Ferragamo black Swarovski-encrusted minaudière and completed her look with Ferragamo shoes.

thank god you’re back FC :D all the other websites got this one wrong :D

the silhouette of this dress does nothing to meryl, and the top is just too cowboy for the red carpet imo.

I am in total agreement! I was trying to figure out what was wrong and that is it! Not to mention that, as you said, the silhouette does nothing for her.

She looks good, but I wished she would wear more often dresses like that Elie Saab dress she wore recently!
