Dear Salma Hayek, where was this Gucci dress when you needed it last year?
The actress totally erased the last six months of the ‘Puss In Boots’ promo tour by looking sensational on the red carpet at the 2012 Golden Globes Awards this evening.
This is more like it. This is the Salma I know and love.
Her Gucci art deco strapless gown inspired by the Spring 2012 collection has a graphic bustier embroidered with antique gold and silver glass bugle beads.
The embroidered liquid skirt of glass beads has a thin beaded belt accenting her tiny waist.
A gold art deco-style earrings, a black satin Gucci clutch and matching black satin peep toes completed her look.
This was easily one of my favourites of the night. I hope she keeps to this standard from now on.

Oh, I just wince at shiny black and gold. It’s so 70s disco era.
Welcome into my top 3 or maybe even 2 (so far) Salma! Fantastic look! I can even overlook the fact that she is not tall enough to fully showcase this beautiful skirt.

I don’t know about you guys, but every time I see Salma on the red carpet, I see a bobblehead. Not that she isn’t a gorgeous bobblehead. One of her best looks in quite some time.
p.s. I don’t envy you the task of choosing best dressed for the Golden Globes, FC, let alone this BDOTW. How will we ever choose?

WOW! You can tell this dress was made for her. It does all the right things in all the right places. Other than the dark roots this is incredibly hard to fault.

I think it’s my favourite gown of the evening (just the thing I would wear if I ever had a red carpet moment
) BUT THE HAIR! It takes away from the look entirely. A dress this sharp deserved a neat slick shiny high pony. And I’m short myself, so I feel sad saying this, but yes I agree with most here, she lacks the height. I can imagine this on Bar Rafaeli *wow*

The new site design has nothing to do with the problems.
The problem is the database and the server. They are both overloaded by the traffic.
It’s so nice to see someone do something different at an awards ceremony but there is a little too much hair going on.

Fantastic dress and she looks gorgeous. Yes, her hair is a little much with the dress but her body looks outstanding here.
This is definitely a huge improvement from the “Puss in Boots” promo tour, she looks beautiful, but still, I think this look is nothing to get excited about.
