Viola Davis celebrated her Best Actress award nomination at W Magazine’s Annual Golden Globes celebration in L.A. on Friday evening.
Viola dazzled in a bright pink Michael Kors Resort 2012 dress with three-quarter length sleeves.
Whilst we’re getting a bit of déjà vu, as this dress reminds of Ginnifer Goodwin’s BDOTW Roksanda Ilincic dress from the People’s Choice Awards earlier in the week, we love this look all the same.
The Michael Kors dress doesn’t boast the same stand-out lantern sleeves, but such a bright colour is always welcome on the red carpet.
Hoop earrings and simple black pumps finish the look.

I say this again : I loove her for not being afraid to wear bright colours.
ITA.
I adore this color and that dress is doing all the right things for her body. She looks incredible head to toe
she is really consistent with great style!
The dress, the bold colour, hair, makeup, jewellery – all great. But the black shoes are just a no, a silver sandal perhaps.
Love her!!!!!
Gorgeous. She looks just great.
Quite frankly, what a shocking, bold choice. And how d-lish she pulled it off.
Side note: is it me or are darker-skinned people at a disadvantage on the red carpet? Seems like the typical lighting doesn’t work for them. That and the loud color seem to make her even darker than she actually is. It’s a shame really. It’s like how there were only tan bandages for so long. There are other colors in the world …. but I digress.
The pink is so bright here that it hurts my eyes! Ginnifer’s didn’t seem QUITE so bright!
