Tilda Swinton attended the 2011 National Board of Review Awards Gala on Tuesday night in New York City.
The British actress wore yet another Haider Ackermann Spring 2012. It appears she has the monopoly on the designers treads.
Her vibrant purple look consisted of a silk blouse teamed with eggplant wide leg pants.
Tilda tousled her hair to add a bit of volume and accessorized with a statement ring.
I love the blouse, but I’m not so crazy about the pants.

Ackerman is perfect for her so I don’t mind her monopolizing his designs.
I like it from the neck down
She’s incredible in purple.
Never a fan of her style (overly manly and ill-fitting looking for my liking). The blouse sits sloppily, and the high-waisted pants are very unflattering adding extra volume around the hips.
+1 I often find that Ackermann’s looks don’t translate well off the runway.
I adore every aspect of this look. Tilda is one of the few people who can really make me gasp. She does so little, but she still looks not only flawless, but also sublime. This is actually probably one of my favourite looks of the year so far.
I’m a sucker for purple and I actually really like this XP
She looks beautiful in purple.Love your blog. Keep going!
With that hairstyle she looks like a young David Bowie, which I really like. Androgyny at its best!
I’ve been trying to figure out who she reminds me of and you hit the nail right on the head! I can totally picture her and Mick Jagger dancing in the street in this outfit
He should just get her to model his clothes, she does it so well on the red carpet.
Swinton really knows what works for her. I love this look. I agree with others that this may be my favorite look of hers this season.
It’s an ok look, but the creases are killing me.
Perfection (well, except the wrinkly pants).
the pants look really bad, but on the model they look even worse
