Fan Bingbing attended the sixth star ceremony in China this week.
The actress wore a D&G Fall 2011 dress.
We’re so used to seeing Fan wearing couture gowns that it’s a bit of a shock to the system to see her wearing something so relaxed and loose-fitting.
Her other extreme is quirky, so it’s refreshing that she’s found this middle ground.
The alphabet print maxi dress with a neck-tie was styled with a braided up do and neutral makeup.

Love it! I need this dress in my life!
+1
I’ve lost her…whole lotta print and dress.
Yes for the middle ground, that´s exactly what it is, and I´m loving it! A bit quirky, playful, relaxed and still adorable and elegant at the same time. The braided ´do finishes this playful look perfectly.
+1
BDOTW for me.
Agreed 100%. I love everything about this look.
Gorgeous
I’m tired of her already, she’s known to be the fashion girl and well, that’s about it. There’s no consistency, there’s no interesting career. Seriously overrated.
Maybe you don’t know much about her because she’s in films you don’t watch? And besides, maybe her career is not interesting to you because you haven’t bothered to research her career?
so true that her acting career pales before her fashion one.
An extremely ethnocentric view. She has an amazing acting record in China.
Thank you. Lets keep in mind that it is not only Hollywood that produces good movies and talented actresses. Fan Bing Bing is a talented and respected actress in China. Don’t dismiss her career based on the number of outfits she wears.
Of course I know the movies she has been in. Or else I wouldn’t have said her career is not brilliant and that I have absolute no idea of how in earth did she became so famous. I’m not a fan of Hollywood movies so please, don’t come around saying I’m basing my views on that.
Sorry if I’ve offended you with my Hollywood comment. I think people (at least I was) were trying to prove that her career is, in fact, quite interesting. She has actress, model, singer, and producer under her belt. I don’t know whether or not you’ve seen all of her works. But if you are interested, I would suggest some of her newer works like “Shaolin” and “Body Guards and Assassins.” They are hardly movies that one can just dismiss as bland and overrated. She has a more varied repertoire than many other actresses in China.
shes done 31 filmes according to imdb. love this look
Very playful and cute.
I like this, her pale skin really pops out against the playful graphic texture of the dress – and perfect hair for this look too.
She wears a lot of dresses that i thought could never look good on the red carpet but she always manage to prove me completely wrong.
thank god finally!! love it!
This is why I love Fan Bing Bing. Adorable.
i love how playful this is, and is it me or did i completely forget about this entire collection. i just had to go back on style and look at it.
I love the silhouette on her but can’t really get behind the alphabet print. Still, I love that she can do cute and quirky as well as high-fashion!
Tying the scarf down and showing a bit of neck totally saves this look.
I love it !
more pictures of Fan,but it’s in Chinese
