Following yesterday’s People Choice Awards, Chloe Moretz also attended the 2012 Critic’s Choice Awards.
The young actress tried an edgier, mature style by selecting this black Chanel Fall 2012 dress with tulle frilled sleeves.
Unfortunately, the Chanel frock appears to be wearing her and it feels a tad costumey.
Chloe seems a bit too petite for the heavily accentuated top, the only thing that save this look are her Rupert Sanderson ‘Flamante’ sandals.
Neutral makeup and side parted hair complete the look.

she looks clean and the shoe is stunning. unfortunately, this time she picked the wrong dress.
The styling is just wrong, you can`t style a wacky frock like this as if you are wearing a cutesy dress. Her hair and shoes are way too sweet for it. But since there is no way she could`ve pulled off an edgy styling, she shouldn`t have worn this dress (that doesn`t even look good on her anyway) to begin with.
I miss her bob, and I miss her darker hair, and I just…miss the old her.
I actually like this look on her! She really looks pretty clean. It’s not BDOTW but she looks cute
Between the shoes, turning the collar down, and the soft makeup, I don’t think it looks anywhere near edgy on her although I suppose that’s the complaint. It’s kind of an odd dress but she still looks cute in it.
Somehow she has taken a rather edgy dress and made it look childlike. i think it is cute, but doesn’t really do the dress justice.
I agree.
Love the shoes.
I don’t care for this…she looks like shes dressed for a school play.
oh hellz nooooooo
I think it`s the wrong dress for her. This dress with the right styling in another girl would been much better.
I actually think the runaway version is costume-y. I much preffer Chloe’s styling, but it would have worked better with her up or in a ponytail.
I actually like this look for her. It’s not my style but she tones down the quirkiness with simple, elegant styling, and I like that.
