Before performing during the live broadcast, Demi Lovato walked the red carpet at tonight’s 2012 People’s Choice Awards in L.A. this evening.
She wore a strapless peach Marchesa Resort 2012 gown with a dramatic train and jewel-encrusted bodice.
While flattering from the waist-down, the sweet-heart neckline just doesn’t seem to fit quite right.
Simple hair and makeup get an A+.
A Marchesa turquoise and pearl embroidered square box clutch completed her look.

I feel that the look is aging her
I miss edgy rocker Demi.
Exactly what I was going to say. It makes her look far too old when she is only 19!
The dress looks tacky on her. I think it’s the way she poses.
As someone who is busty like Ms. Lovato, the look of the dress from the waist up is a little too reminiscent of a Vegas showgirl. Too much tata and not enough dress.

and as someone her age, and busty, i would never have had my hair up with this dress which would age me then attract all the attention to my chest!

She’s really wide across the top, she has a strange shape and often doesn’t dress to flatter her figure. Its a shame as it’s a lovely dress!

The problem is she’s trying SO hard to be like Kim Kardashian. If you see how she’s dressing lately, it’s almost exactly like Kim K.
I think this dress was made for a taller person, and that’s why it’s not fitting her right. The flow below the waist is nice (without the jewel parts), but it just pushes the rest of dress up, making it look awkward.

The bust-line makes her look wider. This dress isn’t meant for someone her age, makes it look like she’s trying too hard.
the dress doesn’t fit her body
It could have worked but her outfits are so obsessed with painting her as this curvy figure. The ridiculously pushed up chest and the (unpictured but it happened) padded tush were just absurd. Especially on someone so short and squat.
Agreed and she wants to be just like Kim K. Seriously, who in hell would want to be like Kim? this is beyond me.
Not my favourite look for her, it doeasn’t seem to fit her properly. I also don’t think the dress suits the occasion a whole lot with the train etc. Love her hair and makeup though, she is a very pretty girl.

She isn’t busty, she has broad shoulders and the bust-line of this type of dress highlights that fact.
She does look good from the waist down and the neck up, it’s a shame.

the one and only major failure from this look is the way the heart neckline sit on her boobs. it’s uncomfortable to people to look at.
