Ashley Greene represented the ‘Twilight’ cast at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards in LA this evening.
The current spokeswoman for DKNY wore custom lace and leather in a daring look by the fashion house.
Lace sleeves seem to be a trend this evening, although I much prefer Nina Dobrev’s green, lady-like version.
We’re just not sure about this black lace turtleneck combined with tight-fitting leather for the usually flawless Ashley.
Had she added some sexy Nicholas Kirkwood heels, some smouldering smoky eyes and possibly a slick ponytail we would’ve figure out where she was going with this look.
Unfortunately we find ourselves slightly disappointed but we appreciate her effort to try something new.

For a moment, I thought she was wearing the same dress as Jessica Alba (Valentino).

Maybe it was me, but I swore I could see her nipple outline on TV. That really turned me off to this look.

Not a good look at all…looks like something you could pick up at the local piercing/tattoo store. The panties showing through kill the look completely.
The dress would be better without that pleated part at the bottom and her should’ve been up
I love Ashley and I appreciate her effort but this is not my favourite. It may have been better if the neckline was not so high and the hemline was not pleated. I do like the combination of leather and lace though.
The only thing I like here is how shiny her hair is.

I agree, beautiful hair. The dress is embarassing… custom made? The fit is terrible, plus I think that lace and leather are not a good match.
I am completely shocked at how obvious her underwear are in this look. I can’t imagine that when she left her house and looked at herself in the mirror she didn’t notice that! It’s called seamless panties Ashley!!
And apparently it was custom-made, too. The turtle neck really is a bit too Britney for my taste.
