Michelle Williams was the guest of honour alongside co-star Kenneth Branagh at a lunch event recognizing the their hit movie, ‘My Week With Marilyn’, hosted by Jean Shafiroff and the Weinstein Company in LA on Tuesday.
The actress looked predictably adorable in a crew-neck striped sweater and matching burgundy leather pencil skirt from the recent Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012 collection.
I love how impeccably well put together this look is, even if everything seems a matchy-matchy right down to her nude Miu Miu peep-toes and deep-red pedicure.
A newly-dyed reddish-blonde pixie cut and neutral makeup complete the look.

“Predictably adorable” this is exactly Michelle I don`t wanna see any more. The impeccably dressed school girl. Please, give us at least a little bit of the age-appropriate sex appeal. Any chance she would change this hairstyle at all… A bit sexier makeup, top and shoe choice wouldn`t hurt her.
Just because she’s in her thirties doesn’t mean she is comfortable with or wants a sexy (sexier) image.

I agree with <nat39,but don't think we will see that happening any time soon.nice look.
Quite boring, but better than the last one.
Love the sweater. don’t really like the skirt on her. the length looks awkward. hate the shoes with this.
I wish she would go for a lower neckline, she has such a great chest.
This isn’t one of her best moments. I’m not a big fan of the skirt and while I like the new haircut, I do miss the platinum blonde colour a little.
ps: sorry, FC. Apparently, one of my comments was sent twice :/
*bows down* Omg love this!
And I love the new color
I could be the only one who likes this….but I don’t care. It is really cute
i love love love the sweater, but would have preferred it with a different skirt. I love her new hair colour. I adore the pixie cut and i am happy that there is a woman in Hollywood that rocks the short hair.
I don’t mind predictable when the result is so cute.
It’s her personal style. She looks comfortable and happy. That’s enough for me.
Predictably cute – it could be worse, couldn’t it.
I like the bottom half of this look. Between her hair and the top she looks 12 years old. The bottom with a more interesting top would complete the look.
Don’t like this look on Michelle at all!
Glorious colour! Here I was thinking she had a phobia of colour. She looks kind of 60s Parisian chic. adorable.
In theory,it sounds like a cute outfit, but in reality…I find it very ugly.
