Kate Beckinsale made a guest appearance on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ yesterday in New York City.
The British beauty dazzled as she made her way to the Ed Sullivan Theatre wearing a Donna Karan dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collectoin.
This black and gold shimmering sequin one-shoulder dress maybe slightly overdressed for some of your, but Kate loves to dress to impress which is why I love her.
Her fitted dress was teamed with black Christian Louboutin ‘Dafsling’ slingbacks which are the sister to the popular ‘Daffodile’ pumps from last year.
Kate completed her hot look with a pink lip shade, large curls and Neil Lane jewels.

A bit overdressed for a TV show appearance but how beautiful this is – love the gown, looks fantastic on her figure (!), very pretty hair. The shoes do work on this occasion – they sorta keep this look “grounded”, just about on the right side of the event-appropriate – with a sexier/more glamorous shoe choice, this look would`ve crossed that line by far. Would`ve preferred light coral lips instead of pink.
I agree with you about the shoes, keeps the look from going way over the top for the event, and she looks so gorgeous/glamorous so I can’t complain at all!

I hate the ‘daffodile’ shoes so much. They always look so heavy and never really add to any look. The ‘dafsling’ is just as bad. But that dress looks perfect.
