Julie Bowen started Golden Globes week off early at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards Party hosted by Audi and Martin Katz in LA on Sunday night.
The actress wore a one-shouldered black-and-nude embellished Naeem Khan Spring 2012 dress with Sergio Rossi ‘Cachet’ pumps.
The mix of tulle overlay and leaf-motif beading is an elegant look for the ‘Modern Family’ star.
However, we do wish she’d opted for a more smoothed-out hairstyle.
A simple black clutch and neutral makeup complete the look.

I agree with you – a more smoothed-out hairstyle would have been a better choice.

It so much more elegant on the runway. The way the top is tied at the shoulder looks like a Hefty trash bag. The shoes look heavy.
i agree. I much prefer the smoother draping on the runway.
This is a lovely dress but she does not do it justice. Especially not with those shoes and her shoulders so tense.
Can live with the softer hairstyle but the clunky pumps and her absolute lack of sexy presence bring this potentially sexy look down completely.
What an awful shot of here…the shoulders look weird lol…I do love this dress but her styling is quite boring.
