Felicity Jones was in New York City on Tuesday night for the 2011 National Board Of Review Awards Gala.
The face of Dolce & Gabbana’s makeup line showed off her edgy side in a black dress with a sheer corset-like bodice from the designers’ Spring 2012 collection.
The black dress, messy hair and smoky eyes put the overall look a bit on the goth side.
To steer away from the goth feel, a classic updo would have added some elegance to the look.
Pointed black pumps provided the finishing touch.

The dress looks unfinished in her, much prefer the runway version!
I prefer it longer the way Felicity is wearing it and I like the shoes, but the hair and makeup is a mess and brings it down.
The dress needed to be shortened and the shoes just don’t match.
I’m not a fan of the dress. It looks palatable on the model but just bad on Felicity with too messy hair and uninspired shoes. A first miss from her.
Love the silhouette and that’s it–too goth, especially with her styling, and I don’t fancy the sheer midriff.
The hair is terrible. It ruins the entire look.
At brief glance i thought this was Vuitton from 2011…
