Anna Mouglalis attended the 10th Annual GEM Awards, recognizing excellence in jewelry design, on Friday evening in New York City.

The Chanel ambassador and actress wore a long black Chanel Fall 2011 Couture dress.

Although opted not to wear the colour version of this dress presented on the runway, a subtle print can still be seen on her black, layered gown.

For a jewelry design event, a black dress is a smart choice, allowing the jewelry to stand out.

However, Anna held back when it came to her bling, limiting her selection to a large costume ring, bracelet and collar-brooch.

A more noticeable belt and earrings would have added to the look.

Smoky eyes and a side chignon provided the finishing touches.
