Olivia Wilde In Monique Lhuillier – 2012 Palm Springs Film Festival Awards Gala

Olivia Wilde joined the seemingly endless list of stars at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Saturday evening.

Dressed in a black MMonique Lhuillier Spring 2012 gown with side and back lace panelling, Olivia showed off her new shoulder-length haircut.

The actress paired her gown with Cartier jewelry, including a white-gold and black-onyx pave diamond panther head ring, a white-gold pave diamond and black-onyx
love bracelet, and a white-gold, diamond, and black-onyx panther link bracelet.

While she had some tough competition, Olivia ranks amongst the best dressed of the night.

From the lace racerback and high back-slit to the fresh new ‘do, I really like this look.

Do you agree, or would you rather see Olivia in something with more colour?

NB: Sorry the comments aren’t working at the moment. We will have it working again soon.

Wish I haven´t seen the lace racerback, looks kinda tacky, totally ruins what I was gonna call a nice sleek sexy look for her. Not quite liking the hair, a bit distracting, would´ve preferred a neat low bun with this look.

The dress is amazing from the back!

Love the front of the dress but the back looks inexpensive.

Like. Haircut much improved. She was way too all cheesy American girl before. Much more interesting.

Best she has looked in a very long time. Love the shorter hair and the dress is great on her.

I actually really like the back. Doesn’t seem like the back and front should belong on the same dress though.

For the first time in a looong time, she’s really selling this look.

I loved the dress when I saw it on the runway but it looks even better on Olivia. She is definitely my best dressed of the night too.
It’s been a long time since Olivia wowed me on the red carpet. I think she did not only change her haircut, she changed her stylist too – if she has one. Let’s hope that this change will last forever..

I usually find her quite boring but I’m really impressed. Especially considering this is a black look. The hair is doing her wonders as well.

The slit in the back turns me off. It’s begging to be a wardrobe malfunction. Otherwise, I like it.

So beautiful. I loved the look right away from the front, but when I saw the back, I was blown away. Hair, make up perfect too. She’s never looked better.

Best she’s looked in 6 months! Love the hair, it’s fresh and modern which is something that’s been AWOL from her looks…

  16. Alina January 11, 2012 at 15:45 #

I like it, but I still don’t think she’s got her mojo back.

Loved the front, but wish it didn’t have that lace thing on top in the back.
