Emily Blunt, who has enjoyed her last few red carpet outings with husband John Krasinski, arrived solo on the red carpet for the 23rd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival.
She was there to attend the opening night premiere of her latest movie, ‘Salmon Fishing In The Yemen’.
Looking pretty in pink, the British actress wore a Marios Schwab Spring 2012 dress.
The designers’ lattice-constructed dress, with a flipped panel which draws in the waist, has also been favoured by Rebecca Hall and Amanda Seyfried.
They both selected black, so I’m thankful Emily opted for the pink colour.
Emily’s dress was teamed with pewter accessories, which matches her nail colour, but it’s that fuchsia-pink lip colour that I simply adore.
It would’ve been easy to play it really safe with this look, but thankfully Emily didn’t take that option.

I like the dress. The color suits her but her shoes are wrong.
Not sure about the pewter accessories, but I love the lipcolor. I wish she styled her hair differently though.
I actually like the pink/grey combination. And I prefer Emily’s more delicate shoe compared to the catwalk styling.

I’m not sure I favour the dark accessories and the bright lips but overall she looks darn good.

I love all the aspects of this look. I really like the pewter colour and style of the shoes. Nail colour, clutch, earrings, hair and makeup are all flawless!!
Not sold on the styling – the dress has a light summery playful vibe to it, and she weighed it down with the pewter accessories, would`ve preferred a more natural relaxed approach with lighter accessories, more natural hair and makeup, and perhaps a slightly shorter length. I find her nail colour absolutely awful in this case.
So in love with this, floored by the styling! A real fashion ‘We’re not worthy’ moment for me.
