Rooney Mara In Givenchy – ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ Madrid Photocall

Rooney Mara was back on the road promoting ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ in Madrid today.

She attended the photocall at the Villa Magna Hotel with co-star Daniel Craig, wearing a Givenchy miltary wool jacket with a flared waist from the Pre-Fall 2011 collection.

The tricolour crossed funnel neck jacket with a combination of black, khaki and brown was paired with a ASOS playsuit which is a sidestep away from her recent head-to-toe all-black looks.

She added black tights and black Louis Vuitton ankle-strap heels to her look.

On this occasion she opted for minimal makeup.

You can buy Rooney’s Givenchy jacket from farfetch.com and Ssense.com.

Blah… maybe some of the feather detail would have added an edge to this…

I wish she kept the shape of the jacket or added an interesting detail. It seems so bland when it could be awesome.

Add some glasses and she’d be Edith Head’s twin. Dowdy look.

Agreed. This is pretty blah, I would have liked to see the feathers.

This is a great photocall look.

i do like this. it’s edgy and it finally has a bit of colour (albeit not the most vibrant one).

The jacket looks too big and long for her – too bad as it could have been great

Heinous color. I loved the last look and thought things were looking up, but maybe not…

Jacket overwhelms her. Maybe the feathers would have helped, but I am doubtful. Love the Edith Head comment!

Doesn`t look good on her, would`ve preferred a pair of black pants on her and addition of a thin belt.

I think this jacket is just too big for her (and lost its shape because of that). But I’m glad she skip this feathers or something what we can see on model…

Lol! The hair has GOT to go!

    +1. Dull as dishwater.

I agree–poor thing’s gotta keep it for the next few years, I’d imagine!

Simple chic. The feathers would have destroyed the look.

I like the feathers but I don’t they would have suited her or been in keeping with her simple slick style she’s sporting for the movie run.

NO!!!!!!!! The hair, the jacket, the tights–it’s like a funeral in Mars!

Oh dear!! I appreciate what she was trying to do but the jacket has lost all shape and looks silly. I don’t think it is tailored correctly for her so is too big
