The 2011 SBS Drama Awards took place in Seoul, Korea last week, with many well-dressed attendees taking to the red carpet.
The beauty who caught my eye was Shin Se-kyung.
She looked very glamorous wearing a Nina Ricci Spring 2012 gown.
I’m sure this gown was on your red carpet wish list, because it was on mine.
This lovely lavender sweetheart neckline gown with gold metallic detailing around the bust was complemented with matching jewellery.
Despite the gold accents, Shin Se-kyung opted for a sparkling clutch and glitter-embellished peep-toes.
Do you think she played it right or should she have opted for simpler accessories?

This looks similar to Michelle Williams’ gown that she wore to the Hollywood Awards. Same gown but in black? I prefer this color and am pleased to see that she is wearing open toed shoes… shorter hemlines and closed toe shoes rarely work. Is it just me or does the gold metallic detailing look like gold foil? I don’t know if I like it… cheapens the look, but I love Nina Ricci so I give this a B+.
Lovely colour on her, not a fan of glitter pumps generally but they seem to be working just fine with the gown, would`ve def. preferred a simpler clutch and less bulky earrings. But what really bothers me here is the top part of the dress falling down and how she`s trying to keep it in place.
Stunning colour, stunning dress, but is she holding it up with her arm??? A little too big maybe??
She always looks stunning.
she looks beautiful! even the accessories are good because she didn’t wear a necklace which in my opinion would have killed the entire look. also, her hair looks great
The accessories are total overkill. The earrings and ring are unnecessary and the bag and shoes should have been kept simpler and less obtrusive. The complete absence of any adornment on the model in the runway show means that the dress does all the talking.
Note to the ladies leading up to awards season: just because a stylist provides you with a dazzlingly dizzying array of jewels and sparkling shoes and bags, it doesn’t mean that you have to wear them. The most gorgeous looks are often the ones that exude simplicity and understatement – keep it clean and keep it precise.
Finally! So happy to talk about dresses again. I love the color and the dress looks so soft.
I think that her accessoires are okay but I would have loved to see the dress transparent like the runway version. But I know that not a lot of people can wear something like that.
hey FC happy new year..super layout ….kisses to you !
Happy new year xxxx
I love it !
It might be just this photo but it looks to be an awkward fit around the bust. It’s a stunning dress though and Shin wears better than when Michelle Williams wore the navy dress. I like the shoes but I would have chosen a simpler clutch with this dress.
She looks lovely. No the accessories aren’t to much. I love glitter.
I’m in love with the dress, however I’m not sure I like it that much on her…maybe it’s the picture, or the accesorizes idk, but there’s something not working for me.
I don’t like the fit–it seems like she’s holding it up. Great color but overall rather a blah look for me.
Lovely! the color is gorgeous!
Devine dress, but think it swamps her…eek just in comparison to the model
