
Rooney Mara is still relatively unknown to many people, but her red carpet style has evolved very quickly in such a short space in time.
The New Yorker who went to NYU is the younger sister of actress Kate Mara. She has already starred in many hit movies including ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’, ‘The Social Network’ and her current movie, ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’.

The Blush and Bashful Years
Her first red carpet appearance was at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival for the screening of ‘Dare’ where she was an unknown fresh-faced beauty wearing a pretty nude dress under a plaid coat which she teamed with a beige belt, tights and olive ankle boots.
Her love of nude dresses didn’t end there as she went on to a nude frilly confection at the Toronto Film Festival during the same year with a small leopard-print clutch and sandals that matched her dress and completed her look.
Cut to 2010 and cute nude dresses with matching shoes were still favoured by Rooney on the red carpet for the ‘Youth In Revolt’ screening and for the LA premiere for ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’ where she wore an Alberta Ferretti pinafore dress with matching accessories. Read more…
