There were no other candidates for Man of the Year, because Ryan Gosling has pretty much had it in the bag since Cannes Film Festival.
He was frankly robbed by People magazine for the title of ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ as he was so very dashing every time he hit the red carpet.
The Canadian heart-throb appears to take the red carpet seriously by opting for perfectly fitting Italian tuxedos in vivacious colours such as midnight blue, ruby or bottle green to set himself aside from other fellas in classic black or navy.
His favourite designers have been Ferragamo and Gucci. My personal favourite is the blue Ferragamo suit he wore at Cannes.
I can’t wait to see him hit the red carpet during awards season.

i like that he is quirky and funky in his street style but always dresses up properly for the RC. It might be not the average tuxedo or suit, but he never tries to show up with jeans or scuffed shoes.

My personal favourite would have to be the beige Gucci suit he had on at the Ides of March premiere in Toronto. He wore it with an open necked white shirt and studded shoes. So flawless I wanted to cry.

Not a fan of Ryan, an average actor at best, not charismatic enough, and his style is a bit too “tutti fruity” for my liking, dislike the comical narrow fit shorter pants.
As for the sex appeal, I wouldn`t even put him on that list, it doesn`t come naturally for him.

I agree with every positive comment here. The scene in crazy, stupid, love when he takes his shirt off is great – pure eye candy. Wept with him in The Notebook and lusted after him in crazy, stupid, love. Is it a coincidence that my husband is called Ryan and my son Noah?
