For Salma Hayek the never-ending promo tour for ‘Puss In Boots’ started with Gucci back in May and ended with Gucci in November.
Throw in some other Gucci Group brands like Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, YSL, Balenciaga (who is not your friend, Salma), and Stella McCartney, plus some other brands such as Antonio Berardi, Ferregamo and Elie Saab, and you have one of the longest and, frankly, most painful promo tours of all time.
This tour was so long that Salma was able to give red carpet debuts to Gucci groups brands from both the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 seasons.
It would’ve been more fun had her stylist and tailor given her a helping hand, but alas this wasn’t to be the case.
Between the unflattering, the unsuitable and the ‘we can see your twins from Mars’ ensembles, instead of excitedly looking forward to the next look, we were praying for this promo tour to end.

Bravo Salma! You managed a seven month, world-wide promotional tour for this film without giving us one inspiring, goosebump-inducing WOW moment. Given her access to what must be the world’s most desirable stable of labels – Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, YSL and Balenciaga – courtesy of her husband, but this is quite the feat. Mystifying.
he gave her all these brands but not one stylist! shame
+1. I would love to know what she thinks when she looks in the mirror. Truly, it baffles.
i second that completely
every time she wore pants i wanted to cry in horror!
Hahaha gold!
@ FC : Ditto.
The blue Elie Saab dress was the only look I’ve liked.
I sosososososo much agree with you
I think that all of her outfits were examples of greats looks gone bad. It almosts feels like she did this on purpose, so she can bedazzle us on award season.
I love you FC, but I always feel you’re too harsh with salma!
What a strange choice.
She is the embodiment of the Emperor’s New Clothes story.
I am honestly in a bit of disbelief that Salma gets this award. How can she go to one of the best dressed of 2010 and one of the best dressed in June, to having the most painful promo. It really was hard to watch, she is so beautiful but her stylist really let her down. She did have a few good looks though. Hopefully 2012 is a better year for Salma, and if not please let any promo tours be much shorter hehe
Agreed completely, the pictures are actually quite funny. Did she really think she looked good in those outfits?
Agreed. So funny.
she needs to stop thinking that her cleavage is her best asset and start dressing better for her shape.
doesn’t matter…her body is amazing…but really….why was this tour so long
HILARIOUS! And so true. The boobs are the worst part… We get it – your boobs are huge. It’s been 15 years of your boobs. We’re over them.
yes, this was just bad all around. such a shame.
This award totally cracked me up, good one FC!
Laughing out loud, FC!
Paula Patton’s is even worse imo
c’mon she try at last!!!!
guap!!!!
