Florence Welch had three wardrobe changes for her performances at VH1’s Divas Celebrate Soul event, which was held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City last night.
The most uncharacteristic was her Emilio Pucci embellished dress from the Fall 2011 collection.
Usually Florence performs in gowns, so this festive ornate velvet dress is quite a departure from her recognisable style.
The glamorous dress, which is elegantly offset with crystal embellishments, was teamed with plum ankle-strap pumps.
Florence’s second look was a Naeem Khan Fall 2011 gown which she wore with a gold camisole.
This fully embellished batwing gown is more typical of Florence’s performance style.
I love the colour against her pale skin. It’s the perfect look for a grand performance.
It’s not often we see Florence wearing black – in fact, I can’t recall her ever wearing black – but she smoulders as she performs in this black Temperley London Spring 2012 tuxedo gown with a plunging neckline and thigh-high split.
Unfortunately the dark background is preventing us from seeing all the details on her gown.

I really love that first dress and its nice to see some more skin on her for a change but then you scroll down and see the gold dress and I still love it because thats her style and she wears it well
I love all the three looks. But I wish she had changed her hair at least parted different.
i agree. it looks a bit matronly….
All three of them are stunning.
love the black dress
and to think this woman is only 25…
The hair is a killer. The Pucci dress is gorgeous.
Florence Welsh has to be the classiest, most elegant musician ever. I have never seen her wearing try hard skimpy outfits. She always looks beautiful.
+1, gorgeous!
The first and second are great for her. Love those sleeves on the Naeem Khan!
She looks fabulous in the Pucci. I wish it were a hair shorter. The Naeem Khan dress is a wonder. Much crisper on the runway, but somehow it works for Florence being a bit puddled everywhere. I cant really tell what the black is all about, but it looks dark and heavy from here.
I love the Pucci, the Naeem Khan is way too long!
She looks amazing in the Pucci, I’m not entirely sold on the center parted hair though….against the right background, I think that black tuxedo gown would have looked amazing.
FC, isn’t the black tuxedo gown Temperley London? It’s really similar to one of their Spring 2012 looks.
OMG, I just looked at Style.com on my iPad and you are right.
Great eye.
I’m going to update the post when I get home.
Thanks again
you’re welcome. keep up the hard work, I’m the biggest fan!

Thank u x
nothing to say……… she look amazing alwayssssssss
Great looks but someone needs to tell her that the middle parting ages her.
Not a big fan of Pucci in general but this dress is beautiful.
