The beautiful Viola Davis was radiant on the red carpet as she joined Sandra Bullock for the ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close’ New York premiere yesterday evening.
Viola would’ve been on a high last night following her Golden Globes nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for ‘The Help’.
I adore her in this pink Raoul Spring 2012 halter dress with a tan leather neckline.
I’m glad that she added a tie to her waist to give her dress some shape and definition.
The look would’ve appeared too casual without it.
Once again I’m in love with her flawless hair and makeup.
I can’t wait to see more from her during awards season.

BDOTW!! Love the pinkmon her and the belt is perfect.
Wonderful!! I love the addition of the belt and the fact that she took such a simple and casual dress and turned it into a gown! Great hair and make up. It’s all very effortless.
Not a big fan of her hairstyle but this is wonderful, agree, how she transformed this dress and made it work for her and for the event.
that color is divine
That belt was a necessity. The dress wouldn’t have made any sense without it.
Gorgeous.
I don’t think this is flattering on her. Don’t like the color on her or neckline and even belted her shape is lost. One thing I appreciate from her is she wears bright colors a lot on the red carpet.
I completely agree. I love her, and I want to love this on her, but I just can’t love. Although the belt was an improvement, it’s not hitting her in the right place. It either needed to be higher, as in a true empire, or lower. I like the color, and really the whole look, better on the model.
Flawless.
The color looks gorgeous against her skin!
The make up and hair look perfect as well.
Such a pretty pink, love this.
She looks wonderful. The color and cut of the dress really work for her. BDOTW.
Stunning! I love her! My father actually worked on a movie with her here in Canada a few years ago. I got the chance to meet her and she is an absolutely beautiful human being!
Love. The color is terrific. I hope she ditches those bangs though, or styles them a little less like a bowl cut.
Gorgeous – the color looks fantastic on her and the addition of the belt is genius.
Perfection! I love how she stands out in the group photo in a sea of people in stark black clothes. She really shines. And that her hubby in a matching pink shirt? Adorable.
She’s gorgeous and talented.
It’s sad but on the mag covers only put emma stone…
Viola looks beautiful! I think this is her best RC look. In the past she has looked a bit matronly. Dress, makeup and hair are perfect here. Well done.
Eye candy for me this west coast gray morning, very well executed,
The color looks amazing on her. It looks so good
I’m so happy for her nomination.
I always love her on the RC – she chooses such amazing colours, and nearly always gets the fit right.
head-to-toe stunning! love the addition of tie!
It is an amazing dress , I am so glad she belted it… but am not loving the look coz the neckline makes her neck look shorter
you are right! she glows!
What a beautiful woman–inside and out! Her hair looks great and I love the bright pop of color! Glad that she belted it.
Hope she wins best actress–The Help was a great movie!
She looks stunning !!!!
