Noomi Rapace failed to impress on the red carpet for the London premiere of ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows’ last week.
Luckily she had time to redeem herself at the Stockholm premiere in her hometown Sweden.
She wore an Emilio Pucci Spring 2012 gown that was very daring and sexy, two things we expect from a Pucci look.
The red long-sleeve embroidered gown with bugle beads and mirror details was teamed with black pumps.
Fear not folks, she’s not going commando; the dress actually has a nude lining to spare any blushes.
Noomi’s 180 turnaround from tragic to magic was completed with flawless makeup and a chic updo.
Do you think this look is much improved?

Fabulous! She is smokin’.
She looks gorgeous!! Peter Dundas has done it again
BDOTW for sure!
This dress reminds me much of Rihanna’s smoking hot red Elie Saab dress she wore to AMA last year I think… I don’t really know why, but I just dislike the dress. She’s cute, she can do better.
Meh….I just can`t get excited about Noomi…everything she wears seems contrived to me and put on her by a stylist…she doesn`t really have the body or face to pull this off for me
It wasn’t difficult to improve considering that ugly outfit… I like this, very sexy. But even if it’s been lined, it seems she’s wearing white underwear… I think she could do something better with the make up.
This look is so ‘Daisy Lowe’, from head to toe!
Yes, I can so see Daisy in this dress
She is not selling this daring sexy gown at all unfortunately with her awkward non-sexy presence and zero poise. Would`ve preferred to see it on someone more statuesque.
+1
Gwyneth Paltrow comes to mind.
I did not like paltrow’s Black Pucci look at all last time. In thenpaper it was supposed to look great, but besides looking tall and lean, as she is, the dress did not make it ani favors. Maybe the intrincated details do not do much for her torso… I like this fiery red on Noomi, even if she is not very tall. Maybe We will get to see another embroidered look later on a taller celeb, maybe…
i dislike the dress,i dont know ,there is somthing missed in her look, you ar right slash ,she can do better from this.
The face on the chest is freaking me out.
God, I hate that dress.
+1
It’s a pretty dress but I feel this isn’t her style, she doesn’t look comfortable.
love the dress! But something about that hair looks a bit… matronly? it’s taking the sexiness down a notch (and not in a good, effortless way)
Way too much dress for such a small person. Not my favorite. But I admit that she looks great with facial piercings and a mohawk.
I don’t love the dress, but I think it might have worked if only she’d added some earrings. I know she tends to go for complex dresses and simple accessories, but in this case something shiny would be nice.
Not sure which I dislike more; the dress or the hair.
Cool dress. Finally, something that lives up to her attitude.
It’s ok but nothing to write home about. I think what puts me off is the pout, she looks annoyed.
I would like this if it weren’t for that strategically placed flower detail on her… lady garden. That’s where my eye is drawn, which is the fault of the designer.
love it.. smoking hot
I voted for Fan Bing Bing in the BDOTW poll, but for me this dress id the perfection. for me She is the best dressed of the week.
Ugh. I don’t like it
I looooved it. It was about time! The best dressed of the week!
