Glenn Close joined Mia Wasikowska on the red carpet in New York City last night for the screening of ‘Albert Nobbs’ which was held at the Modern Museum of Art.
The actress wore an Armani Prive Fall 2011 suit.
Glenn’s suit is slightly different to the look presented on the runway.
The runway look is velvet, whereas she opted for a crepe suit with a slightly different Japanese print on the sleeves and jacket opening.
She also opted for longer pants and black peep-toes.
Beautifully coiffed hair and dangling pearl earrings completed her look.

I’m getting a bit of a patchwork feeling from this, I wish Glenn would have gone with the velvet.
+1. All is lost for me in silk crepe. I also loved the length of the pant on the runway. Glenn should have
chosen another look.
+1, the velvet would have been amazing!
+2 – she looks nice as she is but she would have looked amazing in the velvet.

I think this is just so-so. She should have stuck with the velvet.
this look doesn’t work for me…not on the runway, not in crepe, and certainly not on Glenn.
why is this collection not worn on red carpets? I really wanna see the gowns
Glad she opted for longer pants, suits her age better. What doesn`t work on a woman of her age however is the japanese print – it only adds frumpiness and draws attention to her age.
I don’t like this very much. I’m not a huge fan of the runway look in general but I prefer the velvet. Glenn looks a bit frumpy.
I think she looks great here – she often does look a little frumpy and I think this look stepped it up a notch. Her hair and makeup look good, too.
