Fan Bingbing In Marc Jacobs – ‘My Way’ Seoul Press Conference

Fan Bingbing attended a press conference to promote her latest movie ‘My Way’ in Seoul, South Korea earlier today.

She looked divine, as always, wearing a Marc Jacobs Resort 2012 dress.

Her pretty pink tulle dress with floral embroidered was accented with a red leather waistband.

I love the dress, but I wish she’d get over those nude Lady Daff pumps.

They are so unattractive and look so heavy against her delicate dress.

Why Mr Louboutin? Why?

Fan Bing Bing styled her hair into a low loose ponytail and completed her look with Cartier jewels and pink lips to match her dress.

You may remember young Elle Fanning wore the baby blue look book version which has more of an asymmetrical hemline.

was really like it til it came to the shoes, although thank god they are nude and not black.

      Agree.

    • gurlygurl December 13, 2011 at 22:52 #

Agreed! The dress is divine and I don’t mind the orange looking belt. Perhaps you could do some alternatives for the shoes FC.

BDOTW! That’s what I love – unexpected and bright!

  3. TinaCZ December 13, 2011 at 16:50 #

I have never really understood why everyone seems to love those pumps. They’re so hidious.

    • Emi December 13, 2011 at 17:11 #

I think that those ugly shoes are so loved because they’re Louboutin and because they make women look so much higher… In my opinion, they ruined the look, but I also dislike that belt, which seems orange.

yep many chinese celebs wear this type of shoes, so imho i think they just want to elevate their height. too much insecurity…

        • ajas December 14, 2011 at 07:58 #

Hollywood celebs must also be insecure since they love to wear sky high stilettos.

    • Elena December 13, 2011 at 17:16 #

agreed! they ruin the whole look for me.

      • Marybeth December 13, 2011 at 23:14 #

        +1
        *sigh*

    • Linda December 13, 2011 at 23:35 #

Yes, horrible. I guess one could wear them with pants to keep them hidden and look taller, I’d be okay with that, but to purposely wear them with a dress is beyond me.

    overrated

    • Valeria December 14, 2011 at 07:53 #

I agree on overrated, for both shoes, and for Fan Bing Bing. I Really dislike this dress in this color and without original hemline, looks too Minnie Mouse for me, and paired with Chinese actress …don’t get me started on how I hate Asian attempts to look cute and sickly when they are 30

  5. CTgirl December 13, 2011 at 17:35 #

The shoes are making my eyes bleed.

    • Mary Gatto December 13, 2011 at 22:50 #

Me too! I HATE those pumps! They belong to RuPaul, not for ladies…

  6. Nat39 December 13, 2011 at 17:36 #

She looks adorable in this delicate dress, with the lovely hairstyle, but damn those chunky pumps and DOUBLE DAMN for what possessed her to wear them with such a dress.

  7. Jones19 December 13, 2011 at 18:03 #

She should leave this dress to teens like Elle Fanning, this is too innocent and sugary for her to pull off. My dislike for the Daff’s is turning into hate, this nude pair is the ugliest one of all.

  8. Susan December 13, 2011 at 18:06 #

Note: if Fan Bingbing doesn’t look good in something, absolutely no one will.

  9. dee December 13, 2011 at 18:11 #

Those shoes need to go. They completely ruin the look.

  10. lola December 13, 2011 at 18:19 #

I really hate this look the shoes are hideous and the dress i totally wrong for her…she should stick to Elie Saab. When this lady tries to be young and fun…it always looks strange…the dress is very nice though in itself

Beautiful, light as air dress–the pumps are bad (though something about the angle of the shot makes them look cool and futuristic) but they can’t ruin the gorgeousness of Fan in this dress for me!

  12. TeaAtTwo December 13, 2011 at 22:37 #

The ugly don’t ruin her looking great in the dress though she doesn’t look as airily light as the model, perhaps it’s just due to the colour.

    • TeaAtTwo December 14, 2011 at 00:14 #

ugly shoes* – I was so disturbed by them I couldn’t even bring myself to call them shoes ;)

  13. Kyriaki-Cyprus December 13, 2011 at 22:49 #

I can’t get past the shoes, especially with this dress!
After seeing them up close at Selfridges, I dislike them even more, plus I’m getting really really bored with nude shoes.

  14. june December 14, 2011 at 00:32 #

I loved the fullness of the dress so i’m a little disappointed that fan’s version has it taken out. that said, she’s done that because otherwise it’ll look too young on her

  15. Jess2 December 14, 2011 at 04:13 #

Oh goodness…. the shoes!! get rid of them, they weight the look down!! ankles up she looks so beautiful. I love the colour

  16. JJovana3 December 14, 2011 at 14:23 #

The neckline is extremely unflattering. Her arms look huge. And lets not even get into the HORRIFIC shoes. I dont understand why any woman would wear those monstrosities anymore.

  17. Vee December 14, 2011 at 23:44 #

she should have worn coloured daffs

  18. Jessica&Nick December 19, 2011 at 06:11 #

Although the shoes are indeed ridiculous, Fan looks adorable as always.

  19. MEME December 19, 2011 at 12:17 #

I’m on the minority…. I actually like the shoes…. maybe she likes to look and feel taller… iono… the dress is cute…. but the hemline could be shorter….
