  2. Liz December 9, 2011 at 19:12 #

My favorites were Emma, The First Lady, and Diane, but my vote goes to Emma. That dress was styled perfectly.

    • molly December 9, 2011 at 22:26 #

      Same here:)
The only thing keeping me from voting for FLOTUS was that I wasnt really liking her hair.
Thanks for a wonderful week FC!

      • Fashion Critic December 9, 2011 at 23:06 #

        You’re welcome

  3. couturecoco December 9, 2011 at 19:18 #

Michelle Obama got my vote – she looked sensational!

    • shubby doo December 10, 2011 at 11:13 #

i cant take my eyes of her so she has mine too

  4. Moxie December 9, 2011 at 19:23 #

    • From Russia With Love December 9, 2011 at 21:49 #

      Same here

  5. Kathryn December 9, 2011 at 19:24 #

Tough decision this week so many beautiful dresses and only one vote!! Ultimately voted for FLOTUS but Lea Michele and Rachel McAdams made it a really tough choice.

  6. Penè Lenìerè December 9, 2011 at 19:27 #

I think angelina in the blue gown deserved a spot. But none beat mobama in vera wang.vote

    • couturecoco December 9, 2011 at 20:17 #

Oh yes, she was worthy of being included and back to form I hope.

    • mari December 11, 2011 at 00:28 #

I agree with you both. Her blue Romona Keveza looked great on her. I was out of town and for some reason I could not post at all, and I could not support the Jolie dress, but since I love almost all shades of blueI also voted for Mrs.Obama
tnx FC, and I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

      • Fashion Critic December 11, 2011 at 10:25 #

I am. Just finishing up my Xmas shopping.

I hope you are having a great weekend toox

  7. marie December 9, 2011 at 19:31 #

as much as i love Rachel, im going for the FLOTUS!

  8. Nat39 December 9, 2011 at 19:35 #

There are quite a few lovely pretty looks – Rachel, Lea, Emma, etc…… can`t choose but kudos to SJP for attempting and standing tall in that very daring voluminous look.

    • TeaAtTwo December 9, 2011 at 22:10 #

SJP was a close 2nd this week for me.

  9. fromchi-town December 9, 2011 at 19:40 #

My favs were Emma, Diane and the FLOTUS. Voted for the first lady – she was breath taking!! Have a great weekend FC. This week was fantastic with so many great looks.

  10. alex December 9, 2011 at 19:44 #

    what no Zoe Saldana?!

  11. The Dame December 9, 2011 at 19:48 #

    Michelle Obama!

  12. jeny December 9, 2011 at 19:49 #

michelle and Emma and kristen love her dress to

  13. J December 9, 2011 at 19:53 #

    • N. December 9, 2011 at 23:57 #

Me too! Oh well, too many great looks this week!

      • Zee December 11, 2011 at 07:48 #

        Me too. :(

    • Quinn December 11, 2011 at 09:58 #

me too! but since she’s not here, i chose Emma instead.

  14. TeaAtTwo December 9, 2011 at 19:57 #

Mrs. Obama had my vote since Monday. I almost adored it as much as the her red McQueen gown.

  15. Rahel December 9, 2011 at 19:59 #

I really hoped that you will choose Sonam Kapoor In Gucci. She looked absolutely stunning. Now I’m not so sure who I’m going to take.

I would have switched Kristen Bell with Brooklyn Decker. Kristen’s dress looks ordinary and we have seen it many times before. But Brooklyn’s dress is so fresh because of the light blue color and she combined it with the right accessoires. Just perfect.

    • J December 9, 2011 at 20:53 #

      agreed.

      • Anna December 9, 2011 at 22:10 #

        +1

    • amber December 9, 2011 at 22:13 #

one person’s ordinary is someone else’s classic.

    • TeaAtTwo December 9, 2011 at 22:26 #

Agreed, i thought Sonam’s Gucci look was fabulous too. I also like Brooklyn’s look too, the shape isn’t something seen so often done well on the red carpet.

      • anu December 10, 2011 at 07:43 #

yea me too.. i thought u liked the look too FC?

  16. Jones19 December 9, 2011 at 20:07 #

Emma Watson for me. Wonderful week.

    • Kaz December 9, 2011 at 21:09 #

+1. I loved Emma’s look top to toe – absolutely perfect styling.

Have a great weekend FC and everyone :)

      • Fashion Critic December 9, 2011 at 22:02 #

        Thank you.

I hope you do too x

  17. Isa December 9, 2011 at 20:46 #

There were better contenders, i think

    • Fashion Critic December 9, 2011 at 20:54 #

      Really?

      Name them?

I would be really curious to know. I guarantee you won’t reply

      • Liz December 9, 2011 at 21:21 #

If I could I would have put Angelina Jolie and Brooklyn Decker. BUt hands down Angelina would have gotten my vote! That gown was stunning and so was hair and makeup!!

      • nina December 9, 2011 at 21:28 #

Maybe she thinks about Fergi in that well fitted dress ;-)?!

        • Fashion Critic December 9, 2011 at 22:01 #

          Lol..possibly :D

      • Isa December 9, 2011 at 22:19 #

I’m talking about Brooklyn, Angelina (the last one) and Olivia (in the Marchesa. Instead of SJP, I love her, but that outfit is too much; Emma Watson, also adorable, but don’t like the make-up and the fitting of the dress… and Claire Danes, cute but just “ok”

        • Fashion Critic December 9, 2011 at 23:14 #

With all due respect it is impossible to please everyone.

Angelina and Olivia were nice but boring. Especially Angelina. She’s pretty but the most uninteresting person on the red carpet. The Stella white look was her best ths week.

        • Isa December 9, 2011 at 23:29 #

Just saying, of course. I respect your taste and all, if not, I wouldn’t be a everytime reader of the site… So, thanks for replying, anyways

          • Fashion Critic December 10, 2011 at 01:22 #

No worries. It’s great to discuss these things

      • Penè Lenìerè December 10, 2011 at 08:28 #

Angie in blue i mean or may be it coz it wasn’t black but she still rocked it big. Hilary swank in elie saab was another outstanding performer on the red carpet. How different can we be. Love this

  18. Mary Gatto December 9, 2011 at 20:56 #

    Dear FC,
    that’s impossible!!! :D

    • Fashion Critic December 9, 2011 at 22:03 #

      Lol

  19. jessica December 9, 2011 at 21:46 #

    Emma! She looks perfect!

  20. yumey December 9, 2011 at 21:59 #

Its Emma Watson for me!! absolutely love everything about the look from head to toe.
    Simply elegant,!

  21. doc December 9, 2011 at 23:03 #

    What???? No Fergie????

    • Fashion Critic December 9, 2011 at 23:07 #

      Ha haa

    • Emi December 10, 2011 at 08:56 #

      LOL!!!

    • Jess2 December 11, 2011 at 08:03 #

      too funny!!

  22. Sea December 9, 2011 at 23:32 #

I wanted to choose between 4 and 6 best looks this week :D
but ended up giving my vote to JSP b/c it’s such a difficult look to pull off.

  23. Estranged December 9, 2011 at 23:44 #

I was torn between Emma Watson and Michelle Obama. Since I (correctly, it seems) assumed the First Lady would win, I voted for Emma.

Btw, HUGE thanks for dates/venues of the sample sales, FC! I bought an amazing Erdem top and a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood shoes (which, despite their pin heel, turned out to be verycomfortable and easy to walk in).

    • Fashion Critic December 10, 2011 at 01:24 #

      My pleasure.

I glad they are opening these things up now. They are usually press only.

  24. Marybeth December 10, 2011 at 00:00 #

FC, I am outraged that you have utterly ignored Miss Piggy’s stunning looks during her promotional tour for “The Muppets”!!!!! :D

    • Fashion Critic December 10, 2011 at 12:19 #

      :D

  25. Jones19 December 10, 2011 at 00:28 #

Can I just say that I’m pleased that Jessica Biel has 0% of the votes…I don’t want to be mean but that look didn’t deserve to be in this poll IMO:

    • Tish December 10, 2011 at 01:34 #

I agree. Surprised that was on there & not Brooklyn

      • Jones19 December 11, 2011 at 13:37 #

I would have preferred Brooklyn too.

    • Mrs. A December 10, 2011 at 07:52 #

      Interesting!

  26. Parvati December 10, 2011 at 00:29 #

Charlize Theron wins for me! I love her style, she looks always flawless!

  27. bm December 10, 2011 at 01:08 #

if i could made a change to this poll, i would put Angie in stella, zoe saldana, and brooklyn decker to replace diane kruger, claire dannes, and jordin sparks.

  28. McKenzie December 10, 2011 at 01:23 #

Such a hard decision! So tough to decide between the First Lady, Emma, Diane and Lea. I ultimately went with Michelle Obama because the color of her dress is my favorite.

  29. Dhppy December 10, 2011 at 01:37 #

So many great choices this week. Ultimately, I went with SJP. Who else has tried to wear a dress reminiscent of the 1400s, much less make it sing?

  30. mol December 10, 2011 at 06:31 #

There were several looks I quite loved this week, but I chose SJP for a brave bold look that is pulled off with great sophistication. And seeing as your getting a bit of flak this week on your choices F.C., let me just say that I love muchly all the work you put in each and every week for us all, and that you’ve totally earned my respect and the right to your own dang choices!!!

    • Fashion Critic December 10, 2011 at 12:13 #

      Thanks.

Like I said it is impossible to please everyone, bit I appreciate your comment

  31. Alina December 10, 2011 at 07:07 #

Kristen Bell for me. Michelle Obama as a close second.

    • Linda December 11, 2011 at 14:37 #

I voted for Kristen Bell too. This is the best she’s ever looked. She was a latecomer to the poll, but I love the simple elegance of her white ensemble, which fit perfectly. Beautiful smile too!

  32. MG December 10, 2011 at 08:46 #

whenever Michelle appears in the poll, she’s getting the most votes. unfortunately i don’t think its about fashion any more, though i love her style

  33. Emi December 10, 2011 at 08:57 #

I must say that this poll was difficult. I voted for Claire Danes because she looked lovely in that dress. But I love both Diane and Rachel, and SJP, too.

  34. Dony December 10, 2011 at 12:36 #

Fan BingBing in Vogue Talents Corner in December 9th.

  35. Raquel December 10, 2011 at 13:27 #

I´m between Rachel and Emma, but I miss Emily Blunt and Hilary Swank here… It was a wonderful week!
I don´t think Jordin Sparks deserves a place here but, this is your blog!

  36. Luis December 10, 2011 at 14:25 #

    I’m sorry, but I hate Michelle Obama…

  37. Zineb December 10, 2011 at 14:49 #

They all look terrific, I voted for Emma Watson. But I was surprised Brooklyn Decker didn’t make it to the poll, she looked outstanding !

  38. sarah December 10, 2011 at 14:58 #

    No angie??? :(
    heartbroken

voted for rachel though. Emma was a very close 2nd

  39. Palm Lopez December 10, 2011 at 17:04 #

    SJP <3 ;)

  40. Rosa December 10, 2011 at 19:19 #

I adore this week, so many beautiful fashionmoments. I voted for Emma because her + elie saab is just amazing. Thank you so much for all your hard work FC. I think a lot of people do not understand how hard you work, I appreciate it immensely

    • Fashion Critic December 10, 2011 at 20:13 #

      You’re welcome x

  41. Simon December 10, 2011 at 20:13 #

I voted for Sarah Jessica Parker…; She was just PERFECT !!!!!!

  42. Elle December 10, 2011 at 23:01 #

WOW, is this the most you’ve had up there? There are a ton BDTW! Thanks for your hard work! It’s fun to see these celebrities so quickly after they attend their events. I picked Emma, but Mrs. O’s gown is ravishing!

  43. Jess2 December 11, 2011 at 07:58 #

This was super hard. I really enjoyed all the looks. Emma, Mrs Obama and Kristen were at the top of my list. Based on Emma’s styling and the fact that she looked out of this world amazing she is my choice :)
Thanks again for your hard work this week FC :)

    • Fashion Critic December 11, 2011 at 10:24 #

      Thanks Jess2

  44. marthakriska December 11, 2011 at 12:36 #

Great picks! Can I have two, though? Emily Watson and Charlize Theron, who is getting her fashion chops elevated these days. Love it! xx

    Kriska

  45. Manel December 11, 2011 at 19:51 #

I voted for Emma watson.FC I hope you will see CP Victoria in Elie Saab in Nobel Price.
