I almost cried when I saw Noomi Rapace on the red carpet for the ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ London premiere last night.
The Swedish actress wore one of my favourite designers, Carolina Herrera, but via her styling she totally ruined the look.
Granted, this strapless Resort 2012 black-and-ivory gown with a polka-dot bustier and bold stripes would’ve been hard for anyone to pull off, but the hair and makeup are equally tragic.
Her hair looks very greasy and the makeup looks like it was applied by Coco the Clown.
Nothing is good here.

I’m sorry, but this gown is a ready-made red carpet disaster. Only the tallest, thinnest and most confident of stars could pull a dress this loud and tricky off successfully. Noomi’s hair and makeup are terrible but, in all honesty, I don’t think the dress is the wisest of designs.

What happened to her? She’s so pretty, and it looks like she’s making herself uglier as the premier run goes. When I saw this dress I thought I’d have the same feeling I did when I saw Audrey Hepburn in a picture of the 1988 Oscars (http://www.fabsugar.com/50-Outrageous-Oscar-Fashion-Moments-14370622?page=0,0,5 ) Slightly baffled, but somehow adoring it. This is just wrong though. XP

This dress needed impeccable styling a supermodel to make it look good, and then it might have looked great. Maybe someone like Naomi Campbell could rock the hell out of it.

I really can’t imagine who could wear this dress and actually pull it off. The prints and the design are so unflattering. Apart from the dress, the hair only makes things worse.
I cannot imagine what could have compelled her to sport this hair. It’s so dowdy! She looks like a housewife.
I think Gwen Stefani could pull off this look. On Noomi just no!
