As much as I love Jessica Chastain, I find her red carpet style frustratingly inconsistent.
She has had some great red carpet moments, but this Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 dress which she wore to the Marrakech Film Festival premiere for ‘Another Happy Day’ is not one of them.
This peach colour is working against her skintone, as are those creased (despite being intentional) and that lopsided updo.
The only good thing about this look is that she didn’t opt for black pumps.
Only SJP has made good on this collection, Olivia Wilde and Cate Blanchett (forgive me) have failed to impress.

You’re forgiven, FC. Even Cate Blanchet has her off day, I guess. As for this, it sort of looks like a negligee she wore to bed last night.
I may be repetitive, but this collection is ugly and unflattering. The fabric seems cheap and the fit is bad. Good accessories were necessary.
Apart form her hair, I absolutely detest the whole look. Head to toe: The makeup which is not only flattering but so pedestrian, and then the shoes which clash with the dress and pretty ugly all by themselves, and then the necklace, which just makes the look even more 90′s than it already was. The dress, I really don’t know how to express how bad I find it. The it is awful, the colour is awful, the design isn’t that great, it’s just so cheap 90′s looking. Really honestly this is probably the look of the year so far, even Blake Lively’s last year Westwood outfit was better than this.
Looks like a full slip or nightie. Me no like.
