Michelle Pfeiffer looked gorgeous as always when she stepped out for the ‘New Year’s Eve’ New York premiere last night.
She wore a black Alexander McQueen Resort 2012 dress which she teamed with a black leather belt, some sassy gold-accented black sandals and a gold metallic McQueen clutch.
The look instantly gave me a strong dose of déjà vu.
Upon searching Michelle on my site, I realised that she wore almost an identical look to Elle’s Women in Hollywood Tribute event back in October.
Short sleeves, a thinner belt, plain black peep-toes and more volume in her hair are the major differences.

Def. déjà vu.
she looks great, but i am not 100% on board with the shoe choice.
The dress and shoes do nothing for her, though she is one of my poster children for Hollywood aging well.
Yes, that’s a good point. Agree about the dress and shoes.
Not really crazy about this look.
The belt seems too rough, unnecessarily toughens up this classy dress. The sassy sandals do not work with the classiness of the dress either – safe simple black pumps would`ve worked better. Doesn`t look good at all.
Without praise or blame, in my opinion. I don’t like the shoes with the dress, which doesn’t even seem a McQueen.
The dress, belt, and clutch are nice but the shoes seem off–as does her hair (I think it’s too frizzy). I don’t feel wowed by this look, even though the dres could’ve looked great.
I really don’t like this on her. Doesn’t look right on her. It is sort of a deja vu, but last time that belt and dress fit her better. I don’t like this belt at all.
Dying for you to cover the purple dress she wore this week. To die for! BDOTW worthy for sure! I cannot believe this woman is 53!
Besides the gold accessories party happening on her right hand, this look is awful to the tenth degree. There’s is nothing good about the dress, belt, and shoes.
