Claire Danes had a very busy night last night, as she also attended Valentino Garavani’s launch party for his Virtual Museum.
Whilst we didn’t love her Valentino Resort 2012, our feelings are very different for this Spring 2012 frock.
The scarlet lace dress was presented in a vibrant blue colour, but the red is more striking, plus it’s a bold choice for Claire who is very much a safe option kinda gal.
What’s also very different is her makeup. I don’t recall her sporting kohl-rimmed eyes before.
I’m glad she totally transformed herself from the earlier appearance.
Simple black accessories don’t detract from this rare sultry look from Claire.

I like the length of the dress on the model, which falls above the knees. Claire’s version looks dowdy. The proportions is all wrong.

I agree about the black accessories. I have a strong dislike for the cliched red/black combo. But I’m glad she finally understands her body’s proportions. Much better recently.
