On Tuesday morning, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted in New York City on her way to make a guest appearance on ‘Live! with Kelly’.
The actress is one of the ensemble cast who’s promoting ‘New Year’s Eve’.
SJP wore a Valentino coat over her polka-dot Valentino summery dress, with Jimmy Choo shoes and House of Lavande jewels.
A surprising pop of colour to her taupe look comes via a pair of aqua American Apparel tights.
During the dreary days of early December, coloured tights are always a welcome addition to give your outfit some light, but we can’t say that we’ve seen a pair so particularly bright in some time.
Thumbs up for such a fun colour in an unexpected place.

I’d be on board with she had worn different shoes… simple pumps or perhaps ankle boots. The straps on her ankle against the blue tights look VERY weird.

I agree – the shoe fits (no pun intended). IMO, they’re visually pleasing as the crisscrosses break the monotony of blue.

It is very had to find a shoes that looks good on a colored bright tights.. And this an example.. of a wrong shoe. I guess that is why.. everybody uses black thights with black shoes.

i like the pop of color, but i feel she should’ve tied it together with one other accessory that gave nod to the bold color: a great brooch, a nice handbag, even a great pair of earrings.

I love to wear tights with a bold color. That way my clothes don’t look too conservative.
This is the type of look I could only love on SJP. If there’s room, I wouldn’t mind seeing this up for BDOTW because it’s a perfect example of someone who can have fun with fashion without resorting to something vulgar or gimicky.

The top half and the bottom look almost photoshopped from different people. there is absolutely no correlation. she looks ‘ladies who lunch’ on the top and ‘smurf leg’ on the bottom. Not on board
I m usually all up for a quirky fun looks but this is not workin, maybe coz she is a bit too formal in her outfit tailoring.
