Noomi Rapace joined Rachel McAdams on the red carpet for the ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ LA premiere last night wearing a similar metallic embroidered dress.
The Swedish actress donned a gold shimmering Valentino halter dress which had pockets either side.
Like Rachel, Noomi didn’t overwhelm her look with too many accessories as she simply added some crystal drop earrings with multi-coloured stones.
Sporting a new hairstyle, she pulled her hair back to showcase her freshly cut bangs.

Something’s missing…maybe her hair shouldn’t be up and with bangs. Its looking too solid against the delicateness of the dress
I kinda agree with you, I think there’s something missing, but the dress is beautiful.
I love the dress (though I see no need for pockets on it). Im not familiar with Noomi, so I don’t know what her hair usually looks like. There is a disconnect here…she looks like shes running off to the gym.
I love the dress but I agree on her styling. It looks wrong.
Agreed… the bangs are strong and modern and very dominant with such a feminine old world gown. I would have prefered to see softer waves but the dress is divine and looks beautiful on her body.
+1
Love it, she looks gorgeous. I wish the earrings were a bit simpler to let the dress shine.
Not wowed.
Wrong hair for the dress, probably the wrong dress for this woman. She is a tad too edgy for this sweet sparkly look. Her poses are so out of character–she looks really uncomfortable.
i like the dress and love the earrings, but i am not sure this is the best silhouette for her.
I dig the fact that the look isn’t over the top. She is so not Hollywood and doesn’t care. Rock on!
The dress is nice but I think the bangs are aging. I didn’t feel wowed.
Kind of doesn’t look like Valentino probably because it’s not floaty or chiffon. It’s a lovely dress.
This is one of those moments where an arm cuff would be a nice touch.
