Whilst browsing Topshop.com I came across a bright pink long-sleeve with a thigh-high dress which looked very familiar.
The dress made me think of Brooklyn Decker as she wore a very similar Michael Kors Resort 2012 dress to the Met Gala back in May.
What are the differences?
Price: The Michael Kors slash gown costs $3,995 from Neiman Marcus whereas the high-street version from Topshop US cost $100 and £50 from Topshop International.
Colour: I prefer the striking neon-pink colour of the Kors gown to the soft pink Topshop version.
The Topshop version also has a crease around the waist, whereas the Michael Kors dress is more appealing with its clean lines.

I’ll take the Topshop. I don’t know if you saw any of this collection in person FC. It photographs beautifully and SO much softer.. In person it is all harsh and garish. Every piece will end up in Daffy’s.
Sure the Kors one has to be better!! But it’s just a RIDICULOUS price… There’s no way in hell its $3895 better than the other. In my opinion, obviously.
I absolutely love the stricking neon colours of the Michael Kors dress and the other dresses in the collection, really beautiful. It is more appealing but I also really like the Topshop version and I would definitely buy it.
