Lea Michele ensured she was front and centre on the red carpet at the ‘New Year’s Eve’ LA premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday evening.
She did this by wearing a breathtaking Valentino Spring 2012 nude tulle halter gown which was embellished with gold beaded details.
The ‘Glee’ actress was the only one to wear a gown to this premiere, you won’t be surprised to hear, but I can’t hate on her limelight-hogging ways on this occasion because she looks divine.
Tumbling waves, Louboutin heels, Neil Lane jewels and a beautiful smile completed her look.

I think it’s overkill for a film with an ensemble cast, but she looks beautiful none the less.

Although the skirt isn’t flwing beautifully, withe the tull enot creating a fluid motion, it is a nice, albeit pretty standard dress. I just feel like I have seen this look a few times before. She does look good, but it is too ‘look at me’ for my liking.
To be fair, that is just because of her, not the dress.

The dress is beautiful. But it’s too formal for the event, which is so typical for Lea Michele. She’d be so much more appealing if she dropped the diva attitude, it’ll come back and bite her sooner or later.

I think she looks great! It’s a seasonal look to go with the theme of the movie so I do not feel as though this is overkill at all. Her hair and makeup look fantastic. She looks so much better without bangs!
Eventhough i love Lea i have to say that it looks like she has a boys chest, there is something going on with the top of the dress. I much preffer the Jenny Packmans gown she wore for Glamour 2011 Women of the year

I would love this look if it provided more chest coverage. I realize she’s struggling for cleavage but exposing 80% of your bare chest is not a good look to sport, imo, and you should see all the pictures where the dress is gaping and you can see inside of it! thank goodness for double stick tape! I just think this is too bare and something about it throws of her proportions.
Ok, she was definitely overdressed for the event, but we know she loves to be the centre of attention and gowns. And when you’re given such a beatiful gown, who wouls resist wearing it?
