I knew I spoke to soon yesterday, as it was back to black for Angelina Jolie.
She walked the red carpet at the School of Visual Arts for the New York premiere of her directorial debut, ‘In The Land of Blood and Honey’ with Brad Pitt looking sickeningly gorgeous as usual.
The beauty of this look is its simplicity as Angelina paired an elegant in her black satin Joseph cold-shoulder blouse with a black pleated Ralph Lauren skirt.
Had it not been for that beautiful gold Ofira necklace, this would’ve been a total snooze fest.
It’s good to see that Brad has cleaned up his act somewhat. He no longer looks like he’s on his way to the nearest soup kitchen.

The necklace is nice but this is still a snooze fest. Resting on your laurels because you’re beautiful is not fashion.
This is boring, I can purchase it in any local department store and my grandmother would gladly wear it.

Yes, she should wear white more often. I loved her street style look, it was very glamourous. This is not.

Angelina always looks the same these days….. The whole flowy thing. Her hair and make-up is always the same. I just need her to give me another jaw dropping red carpet moment
This reminds me of her black Vivienne Westwood dress…that look was better for her in my opinion. This is nice but nothing special–I love when she wears colors. Her green Golden Globes dress was amazing!
The whole Jolie-Pitt clan (Angie, James Haden, Mr and Mrs Pitt as well as Brad) wore black. I’m guessing the point was to keep the attention on the actresses, because at the end of the day, Angelina shouldn’t be the main event (I mean, when do we ever see a director get so much attention?).

I generally love Angelinas simple elegance… and in an evening gown I find her very graceful and ethereal.. this however is very boring. It feels too old for her and the top is very overwhelming on her frame. I do like the skirt though, I just wish she’d opted for a different blouse.
As usual boring but I guess she wasn’t going be particularly interesting style wise when promoting being director of such a serious film.
Is Jen Rade still Angelina’s stylist? can someone please fire her? i can’t take any more of this “style”, i would call it matronly, but even my grandmother has far more interesting taste! Just let Brad dress her for awhile, he seems to have pretty good taste in clothing, (its the hair washing that is an issue for him) Or better yet let Zahara and Vivien loose on her. I’m sure whatever they gome up with would be a hell of alot better!
sickening gorgeous? Or just sick? She really looks beat to me. And she’s wearing a sack. That necklace doesn’t make up for that.
